I was turned away because they only serve Parkland staff and patients. (I was having outpatient treatments at a nearby Medical District facility.)
ALTERNATIVE: Zale Lipshy Pavilion is just across Harry Hines. Try their little cafe on the ground floor. Unrestricted access. Not sure of the hours. Really good food! Example: customized entrees like fettuccini with veggies and chicken, $7.13. Also soups, sandwiches, fried stuff like fast food fare. Menu changes daily.
OR if you face 2 or more Med. District appointments, bring food for the day. Especially if relying on public transport or you have poor mobility and can’t get to a restaurant
Bring back the Burger House and Dickey's!
The cafeterias in the hospitals are not good. This is the place to go if you're an employee at UT southwestern and want an actual meal. I will say Clemens cafe is pretty good too.
