My regular Starbucks, always quick and friendly, but this morning took the cake. Someone wrote nice messages with little drawings on our food wrappers and coffee mugs. It was a fun, mood-enhancing start to our day. Thanks, Starbucks employee!!
I ordered the Iced Hazelnut Oat Milk Shaken Espresso and honestly, I was kind of disappointed. At other places, the drink usually has that nice layered look, and you can really taste the espresso. But here, it was all one color—almost like a latte—and way too heavy on the milk. The espresso was really subtle, which just didn’t hit the same. It wasn’t terrible, but especially since I’m paying almost $8 for a drink, I expected a lot more.
Stopped in today after running some errands in the shops around Starbucks. I am not a big coffee fan, so I do not have a favorite drink there. Wendel was at the register. He was so friendly and had excellent customer service. While I was waiting for my coffee I observed him giving the same friendly and outstanding customer service to others who came up to order.
