We’ve been going to this bakery since I was a child, with the original owners and a staff that cared about their customers. We always got a sugar cookie, my mom got the salt rising bread and breakfast kolaches they called back then, Numerous cakes thru the years and the cheese pockets to die for. I am in love with how our wedding and groom’s cake turned out. They were both exactly what we asked for! Not only did they look wonderful at our wedding, the Texas one getting an excess amount of compliments, but they tasted amazing, too. My wedding cake was strawberry with white buttercream, which is my absolute favorite. My husband loves red velvet with cream cheese, so we used that for the groom’s cake! Worst customer service ever! I tried ordering over the phone (FOUR days in advance) a custom BDay cake and petit fours, and the person answering the phone kept arguing with me about what I wanted to order. It was simple: A strawberry cake with strawberry filling and almond icing, along with almond petit fours. Why did that take 20 minutes to explain what I wanted? Used to be a great bakery - not anymore!
