In a restaurant, I look for great food, drinks, aesthetics, and great food. We had the Caesar salad, beef dumplings , roasted chicken, asparagus, sautéed mushrooms, and steak. This restaurant has it all. We went to dinner there last night and the food was awesome. I definitely will be a regular moving forward.

We had a surprise dinner for my friend and the staff was SO HELPFUL! Our waiter Andres was the absolute best — On point the whole night, incredibly kind, and knew the menu and drink options down to a T. He truly deserves a promotion and raise. The food was delicious and loved the vibes. I HIGHLY recommend coming here!

The hotel is beautiful but they need to get it together for the price and experience they are trying to create. Dined at Stillwells and whilst the menu is interesting and slightly different from the usual Dallas Steak House menus, the service was appalling. Our side of the restaurant was being handled by one waitress who aside from her slight ‘attitude’ was obviously having trouble keeping up with the tables whilst the tables next door seemed like at least 4 different waiters were at their service. We were not the only ones who seemed unhappy with the service we received. Wouldn’t rush back and haven’t recommended it based on the service. For the price and experience they are looking to create they need to do better.Went back to the hotel last night to give it another chance, after a lovely dinner at namo and pre dinner drinks at Bar Colette. The lobby bar was full of very young adults playing grown up and the club at 11 pm was apparently too busy to let us in. Not sure if the one doorman was trying to create an allure of busy but there was not one person waiting outside and being told a 30min wait in the wind was a bit much. Disappointing all round!

Had dinner here earlier this week to help celebrate my husband's birthday. Service was flawless, timing of everything was perfect (thanks Andreas for the amazing hospitality!) The food was impeccable, and there was so much attention to detail with everything (the restaurant, the staff, the food and drinks). I look forward to coming back. I just need to figure out how to come back with an extra stomach, because I fell into a food coma immediately.

Celebratory dinner. Got colossal shrimp cocktail, crab cake, beef dumpling appetizers. Field of greens, wedge, and Cesar salads. Akaushi filet and strip, pork chop, and standard filet. Sides included loaded baked potato, baked mac and cheese, green beans, and onion rings. We did not have room for dessert. Everything was correct, well prepared and hot.

What could have been a lovely evening was quickly turned into a nightmare. To make a long story short, I was served a drink that included shards of broken glass. I was not going to write a review until I read another one from an employee about the egregious health and safety missteps that are clearly a systemic issue here. While I did not require medical attention, someone else very well could have. While they claimed they don't know how this could have happened, if you talk to a bartender, they can tell you exactly how (lack of using a 'scooper' in the ice bucket -- required by health and safety codes). I was denied a copy of the incident report. Aside from the severe lapses in judgement by kitchen staff and management, the cold crab cake and lackluster service do not warrant the price point of this restaurant. I would stay away.

Do not recommend. Couldn’t figure out how to make a martini after three tries. Decided to then order a negroni which was also made incorrectly. Food was decent at best but unfortunately the people from our party who ate the beef rib were both sick. Stick to the traditional steakhouses for a much more polished dining experience.

There’s treating yourself, and then there’s treating yourself in style! Stillwell’s is definitely the later. When you’re ready for a steak house that takes dining to another level, the 7th floor of the stunning Swexan hotel awaits you. The intimate Art Deco decor with hints of French decadence are perfect for the most romantic of dining experiences or closing big deals. An impressive Sommelier presentation is the perfect complement to the well curated, and affordable menu for wine enthusiasts and novice alike. Stillwell’s offers an array of elegant seating options throughout 3 spaces including a cozy balcony for their diverse clientele, ranging from the young and elegant to the seasoned perfectionist. I chose to dine centerstage, at the wonderfully stocked horseshoe shaped bar which comfortably seats 12. I can’t say enough about the staff; from the host to management; attention to detail, and every guest’s enjoyment is obviously their mission. I know you’ll have a wonderful time! See you at the bar XOXO Lorenzo!

VERY good! Service, food and atmosphere were all great. The only reason I gave it four stars was I thought it was a little pricier than a lot of other high-end steakhouses in Dallas for food that was maybe as good, but not better for the price.
