Food was really great. The service was a little hard to deal with.

First i need to be very fair to the 2 employees who helped me. They both had very good attitudes & i felt they are both very conscientious employees. Also my sandwich was delicious! However i believe the problem on my visit is due to either unclear or unfair price labeling inside the restaurant. On Saturday evening i visited & ordered from the smallest sign behind the counter which is titled "Build Your Own" & said i wanted "a footlong oven roasted turkey" & my total was $10.81. But on the menu board i ordered from - it said the Oven Roasted Turkey was $9.29 and with 8.25% tax added- it should have totalled only $10.06. So they explained that even tho i ordered the "Oven Roasted Turkey"- they needed to charge me for a "Titan Turkey" at $9.99. When i specifically pointed to the smaller menu board I was ordering from, she understood but said the "oven roasted turkey" on that board was not an actual price but a "coupon price". Then she pointed to the fact it had extra cheese (but ironically i had ordered mine specifically with no cheese whatsoever!).
So i am rating this only 3 stars because altho, the sandwich she made for me both looked good and tasted wonderful & the staff was both hardworking & courteous- the pricing was either unfairly and/or poorly displayed. I don't believe they misunderstood me but rather I believe they were charging as the owners instruct them so they had no choice but to do their job the way they've been told. Also again i must emphasize both these ladies had great attitudes & are obviously very fine employees.
So assuming there was no misunderstanding then I contend it is wrong for the owners to automatically charge a customer for the Titan Turkey from the more expensive menu board when they order the "oven roasted turkey" from the cheaper menu board. If the smaller menu board's prices are only good by using a coupon- then the owners need to make that clear in their signage.
All prices displayed should be the price you are charged without exception unless that exception is made clear on the sign.

Worst subway I have been to. I am always able to order a meatball only but this subway said they would not do just meatballs. The manager was rude and said he wouldn’t do it.

the charge me $.50 for a spoon and Were extremely rude I work in the area, def the worst subways I have ever been to Every time I go there, I’ve taken them. I’ve been extremely nice and I knew who I was. And treated me like that I always go to them because the convenience But now I just spend extra money to DoorDash or walk somewhere else.

Worse customer service ever. I used to go here but not anymore since I kindly asked to use pepper jack cheese on my sandwich instead of cheddar and they refused to do that and I walked away and never ever come back. Report this to the headquarter as well. These guys need to learn their lesson that great customer service is number 1 to succeed in the business.

is things when you walk in in the service is 100% trash I walked in and said good morning and the man ignored me and said that I was on my phone so he didn’t say anything back and then he was very rude and he was like what do you want and yelled at me this restaurant is racist and disrespectful. If you’re not Hispanic, they won’t serve you properly

The two ladies who served us are very unfriendly. The truth is, I was with my partner and we didn't get good service! We literally didn't prepare our subway well, practically it was almost that they didn't have teriyaki chicken prepared well, they simply had chicken and then they added the teriyaki sauce! So much so that at one point I asked them about a product and they didn't answer me! I think the attention was not good since my partner and I are Colombians. (They are Mexican) They were both too despotic with us, the truth is we really like Subway, but in terms of Oak Lawn I wouldn't return. I think the owners should be a little more attentive to the type of staff they hire. People like that are useless.

The two ladies serving do not have a service attitude, I don't know if it is because my partner and I are Latino, (they are Mexican) but they did not have the best service, I did not eat my sandwich as I wanted because every time you asked for something the lady seemed that I was scolding you and I didn't ask for what I wanted, I didn't want my sandwich toasted and they had to toast it, I ordered chicken teriyaki and they didn't have teriyaki chicken they just put chicken on its own and they put the sauce on it, we definitely didn't eat what we wanted or how We wanted it due to poor service and lack of communication from the managers at the time, they never told us that there was no teriyaki chicken and that the option was to put chicken only with a little teriyaki sauce because we couldn't even taste the sauce. I would definitely not eat at this subway again, first bad experience with this restaurant chain and my partner and I love eating at subway but I would not return to the Oak headquarters. I don't recommend it at all.

This is unacceptable behavior im sure she doesn't understand English but I just bought food about hours ago I was just sitting in the parking lot and she denied me to use the restroom and her name, she looked nervous when I asked for her name this is all bc im “black “ or they're just lazy.
Lady working the counter was rude and lied about subway discontinuing an item.
