Had a terrible experience with DoorDash when I ordered online from this location. One of the managers Gilbert was extremely helpful and understanding and made my experience a positive one after I cancelled my order and was looking to buy from somewhere else. He called me back with a great solution and the cake was beautiful, just as I ordered! The new door dash driver was the worst, but at least the cake got delivered and that’s a review for door dash. Highly recommend this location as they are solution oriented if a problem arises and I truly felt valued as a customer.

I originally placed an order for a cake with a special inscription. The order I placed was a cake for a bachelorette, so the inscription was personal to that. When I ordered and paid for the cake online, there was no rules about what could be on the inscription. The bakery called and told me they wouldn’t do it which I understand as they have the right to refuse, but the manner in which I was notified and told was completely unprofessional. The employees on the phone were so rude and treated me like I was subhuman for my request. For future reference, state a list of rules for what the bakery allows to be written on the cake when ordering. That way, I won’t waste my money ordering a cake when I can just do it myself.

great looking place the sweets are too sweet for my enjoyment peanut butter sandwich cookie and carrot cake - i bought the cake for my mom she said it was too sweet - i bought the cookie for myself which was extremely sweet - it made me so thirsty - i won't return here but I'm sure it's great to those who enjoy sweet sweets - COOKIE AND CAKE I HAD TO TRASH - WASTE OF $ FOR ME

We recently tried out two slices of their cakes: Luscious Lemon Cake and Tropical Coconut Cake. Both cakes had good overall flavor, with the lemon curd from the Luscious Lemon Cake being our favorite part. However, the cakes themselves were both very dry- the actual ‘moisture’ came from mostly the buttercream/lemon curd. Meaning that if you had JUST the cake without any sort of buttercream while eating, it’s very noticeably dry unfortunately
The shop itself is cute and clean, with a wonderful display of a variety of cakes, cupcakes and treats. The employees there were also friendly and helpful

I've been a fan for years and have ordered countless cakes but wanted to leave a review after recently ordering my wedding cake from this location. Ordering our cake was seamless, we had an appointment for the tasting and everything from there was online or by phone. They even color matched a specific dusty blue for me. Last but not least, our wedding cake tasted amazing! I also wanted to give a shoutout to the employees. Everytime I come in, usually around a holiday or busy holiday, the ladies behind the counter are working so hard and are so nice to interact with. Thank you SusieCakes!

Susie Cakes is located in Dallas. I came years ago when they first opened, and I wanted to pick up a few items while I was in town. The customer service was great. I tried the coconut, pink confetti, and carrot cake, and I got the lemon cupcake for my mom. The cupcakes were good, but just a little dry. I was expecting them to be moist on the inside. The carrot was super delicious and loaded with nuts. I highly recommend the carrot cake.
