I’m Guyanese and it’s been a struggle finding GOOD Caribbean food in Dallas. I live in north Dallas and wanted to try out another Guyanese spot aside from my usual. Called in to ask about a specific item, she got snippy quickly and I had to place my order online. Cute spot, the colors are bright and welcoming. Arrived, she greeted me well, but the items I ordered lacked flavor. Could have been an off day but I’m a 45 minute drive and personally wont be back to try again.

The foods are delicious, and I would also advise my fellow countrymen and women to please not expect a public restroom if you planning on checking this place out because there none. Thank you

I had the oxtail with white rice and a pine tart. Everything was delicious and homemade with generous portions. The owner is really nice too, and she runs the entire place by herself! Would recommend getting here early since she sells out of certain things by the end of the day.
