Ordered carne asada tacos for my child and the taco meat was literal chunks, this is not cut for tacos. When my husband requested if they could chop it up into smaller pieces they told him they didn’t have time cause there was a rush.
While I understand they may be busy, quality is still necessary when it comes to food I am purchasing and the request was not an outrageous one.
I ended up going to the counter and telling them I needed it fixed and they told me thats how these tacos were. I told her I still needed it done. They “fixed” them by giving me a new order with still big chunks of meat and onion and cilantro which was not my original order. At that point I just ended up doing it myself. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had at La Ventana.

Unfortunately, this place desperately needs a tech update. Not only was I able to place a to-go order on their website after they closed, but their hours were wrong on Google Maps. I arrived to pick up my food and no one was there.

On February 23 around 2 PM, my friend ordered a burrito to go that unfortunately didn’t live up to expectations. It lacked any proper carne asada—the few pieces included were so burnt I couldn’t even chew them, and the end pieces were noticeably red and undercooked. Had I dined here, I would have definitely asked for a replacement.

Avoid ordering online on their page, it does not work. I ordered an order to pick up at 4pm my order was confirmed by email and text. I was supposed to get my order at 4:16 pm. When I asked about my order the lady at the window said they didn’t get it, but somehow later she found it. I waited and asked a couple times about my order and they just told me “they are working on it”, after a while I went and asked again and my order had been sitting on the side and no one had called my name. So I got my foot at 4:40pm. I ordered online to avoid the wait times since I had my 7 month old baby with me but that was pointless, I ended up waiting longer than if I had ordered in person. Also they don’t add utensils or salt packets on the to go orders.

Came here because we were amazed by the location in Athens (which we were told it's no longer there). The food was good, the other location was better. Ordered the nachos, a quesadilla, and a margarita. The nachos were maybe a little better than ok. They use shredded cheese. I would have liked melted cheese and beans like the other place had. The quesadilla was good. The tortilla, cheese, and carne asada were perfect. The margarita was smaller, and it didn't hit that spot quite like the other location. The main reason for the 3 stars was because in a chilly night, your food will get cold fast. Also, because of the outdoor seating, there is a lot of bird poop on the tables. Menu also was smaller than the athens location. Be sure to pay the $11 parking first and this place will validate it for the first 2 hours.

Would not recommend ordering takeout from here - staff was inattentive and unresponsive. Received food over 20 minutes after it was supposed to be ready and had to repeatedly ask.

The food was ready for 10+ minutes of me waiting but they would not take 30 seconds to bag up my order without asking repeatedly, very poor experience.

Eggshell in the breakfast burrito cashier was on the phone taking orders the whole time probably doing 2 peoples jobs this place really isn't the place it used to be

With 2 more hours open as per said on google...they rejected probably $150-$200 worth of service at 10pm. Don't say your open if aren't going to be open.🧐🤨

The food is average. Service is good, I don't like how they holler the order directly over people's food as they hold it below their mouth. I'm not a germaphobic, but their breath, saliva and germs definitely get on people's food. The seating is good, plenty of seating with music. Umbrellas and canopies provide shade. During fall and winter they have out door heaters with is cool. Decorations is a plus! I will definitely come back if in the area.
