Te Deseo was awesome! I'm already craving their barbacoa again!!!! It was sooooo juicy and tender! Packed with flavor! We also got the guacamole, arepas, shrimp skewers and arroz. All were good but the barbacoa won me over!

I got a 3 course meal that was worth 85 per person. When we got there at the time of my reservation they told us there were certain items not available on the courses so we had to choose different items. When I asked for my bill they had charged extra on the items when that's all the option we had and they never mention it would be an extra charge. Then they charged an extra 18% when they never mention prior to the reservation or during that it would include the tip. It was a party of 2 so they added 80$ just on extras fees. Don't recommend bad service and bad quality of food.

We chose Te Deseo for their à la carte New Year's Eve event specifically for access to the upstairs area, which turned out to require an additional upcharge. Portions were extremely small, the “spare riser” was literally a single spoonful of ceviche, and many items on the à la carte menu were further upcharged, limiting already minimal options. Gratuity was included and authorized, yet an additional $10 tip was added without consent. With the $40 per person event access fee, two people dining à la carte with one round of drinks totaled $397.59, a price at which we could have dined at a much nicer establishment. Overall, the experience felt overpriced and lacked transparency.

We went for dinner on December 31st. First, they made us wait outside in a rather unpleasant manner. Second, the table for 5 people, which we had reserved, was hidden away, and all we could see was a picture of a woman walking on the wall, without being able to see anything of the restaurant or the atmosphere. As for the dishes, the ceviche was far from being a high-quality ceviche. The steak was the only thing that was good, although the potatoes that came with it were somewhat undercooked. And for dessert, the rice pudding, a dessert that is usually quite sweet, lacked flavor. For a supposedly high-end Latin American restaurant, it falls far short.

Solid menu and nice atmosphere. Waitress was very nice and professional but seems they were under staffed the night we visited as service was unusually slow beyond a nice casual pace
