The Dinner Detective Murder Mystery Dinner Show - Dallas, Texas

I've been to a dozen murder mystery shows and this was by far the best. I was shocked by the ending. The food was good, the show was even better.

Such a fun experience! Clue meets Agatha Christie meets stand-up comedy. The show was very fun and they did an excellent job. You have to pay close attention to solve the murder, they throw lots of wrenchs in to keep you questioning what's happening. Don't go if you are easily offended, they are edgy and playful.

The show is great, all the actors were fantastic and did a great job interacting and getting people involved in the show. If it wasn’t for the food and the service to get food it would be 5 stars all around. I ordered the fish, server came to everyone at the table and delivered chicken, which my wife’s was pinkish in the middle and dry. The server came around 5 times and asked me 3 times what I ordered and would bring it. Still did not get it and the main actor had to ask what I ordered and went to the server and asked them to bring my food. Everyone at my table was already done eating, it became a joke and they thought maybe I was part of the act. The serve comes back and says let me see if we have any left (6th time). Waited again another 5 minutes and he brought me a salmon plate which the salmon was cold, and had the fishiest taste I’ve ever had in a salmon. Couldn’t eat it, server came back and said I guess you’re done with that. Did not offer anything else knowing obviously it was bad. Expect to leave the show hungry, the expensive fee is for the great actors not the food! I still left a decent tip but from this experience doubt I’ll be back.

It was an awesome experience, it was sooo fun I will definitely do it again and will recommend. The staff was awesome & funny they all made the experience that much better. The detectives are a great team some of the actors are in the crowd and they did so good too you won’t even know it. The food was OMG the food was so good. It don’t look like it but it was really good. Definitely a must do again. Loved it can’t say enough about it all I know I will be on this for a long time. Sorry I can’t add pictures it didn’t save save to my phone.

Here’s photos of y they get 2 stars!! Can’t stand a scam!! The email they sent to me was a fake email! Like wow no apology or anything just here take this fake email and gone on lady! Well I will after I let others know to be careful on getting the extra stuff it was handled poorly ? and not worth my hard worked money!! Then my comments on Facebook from me trying to contact them prior to the show letting them know I haven’t received email they went and deleted them thankfully they were in my activity log!! So I know it was seen by someone just not acknowledged!!!!

I’m an actor who worked for dinner detective for almost 3yrs. I loved the show bc I’m an entertainer at heart but the discrimination and mistreatment of Black actors from your co-workers is totally unacceptable and l rather walk in rooms where I’m celebrated and not just tolerated.

My friends and I all had a great time! The food was delicious as we all had different plates. We did get drinks at the bar as well. Be prepared to laugh and become an investigator. Oh and dessert was delicious!! Great actors!!

I attended Dinner Detective as a birthday present. My partner and I was skeptical about attending due to all of the reviews stating how the food was not so great. I am here to reassure you that the food was not that bad. It just needed more seasoning.

Food was what you’d expect from a hotel cared event. Nothing amazing but not bad. Needed some more seasoning for sure! But the show was amazing and made up for it!
