I’ve visited many locations, except this one, until last night, & I think I found my favorite location, to my fav restaurant! Chheng & Christina were amazing, patient & prioritized customer service. I asked for everything crispy & they executed my request like no location ever has! 11 out of 10 rating! Just when i thought i couldn’t love this place anymore, I stumbled upon this location… 6 out of 5 stars!

I tried The Hen House Louisiana Homestyle Fried Chicken for the first time and was honestly impressed. The chicken came out hot, crispy, and seasoned really well. The outside had a nice crunch, but the inside was still juicy and tender. I also liked that the portions were pretty good for the price. And the service was friendly and food was quick and fresh.
I love the henhouse. I come here all the time to get their famous Kool-Aid slush. I mean, they’ll let you get Half flavors it’s amazing. The food is always hot and fresh. I mean, you literally can get addicted to this place one of the best places that sells fish and chicken and I noticed that a lot of people was coming in here picking up orders of fried rice. I tried that too. It was amazing and I mean it they grilled their shrimp before they even put it with the rice given it in an extra flavor y’all have no idea how y’all are missing out on this wonderful place. Their cakes are phenomenal. I’ve had the strawberry the chest pie the sweet potato pie, the caramel cake, but let’s get back to those Kool-Aid slushes and those chicken tenders. I mean everything is phenomenal. Everything is could go in there less than $25. It’s amazing like you could feed the entire family of four with a nice 10 piece I’m telling less than $30. You can tell that they use a fresh grease.

Unfortunately, the food was not really seasoned. The portion size was okay for the price, just needed more season and flavor. It’s 2 ⭐⭐ for me!
