If you're in the mood for some authentic Caribbean food, you have to check out the island spot! They offer a variety of handcrafted cocktails and delicious island entrees. You get a taste of Jamaica right in the backyard of Dallas, TX. I enjoyed a refreshing drink, the Spanish Town Hussla, and for apps, Fried plantain and Jerk Nachos. Attended with a party of 7 and it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive at the table. When I asked about our food at the 30 minute mark I was told the fried chicken takes a long time. When the food did arrive; four of the seven plates were delivered. Ten minutes later, the other three arrived.
