I was skeptical of another taco shop in downtown since so many of them are commercialized and aren't authentic at all, but the taco stand lives up to the hype!! Relatively good prices for the quality you're getting, pretty quick service, and the food is AWESOME. Will 100% be coming back. Only wish they served margaritas lol

I was skeptical to try The Taco Stand in Dallas, since I have visited the OG Miami location. And sure enough, they did not disappoint! Everything was AMAZING. I cannot recommend The Taco Stand enough. From the beginning with the house made tortillas to their various salsas to choose from, I am a fan of it all. The fish taco was fluffy and light, and the sauce tied it all together. And don't get me started on the El Pastor!! Shaved right off into a homemade tortilla and topped off with pineapple!! We ordered: The Baja fish taco Carne Asada El Pastor Guacamole and chips

So I came to check out this spot because of Instagram, again. This place was extremely overhyped and overpriced. You can watch a live reaction of me trying the taco in the video below. Don’t get me wrong, they were super friendly and the little patio to sit outside was nice. Not a nice view but I guess the weather was just right. Parking is a pain in the butt because you do have to pay and there are very limited (6-7) spots in the little garage. The tacos had ZERO flavor. I am not exaggerating either. The salsa also was bland and not to mention it’s left sitting out on a bar like table just uncovered and baking in bacteria. Not a good look.

Wow! This is the best burrito spot in all of Dallas. You walk in and order at the counter then wait for your name to be called. This burrito was delicious. This place is a must try! You will not be disappointed with the burrito.

The carne asada french fries were great had just enough guacamole and sour cream and cheese. The Carne Asada burrito was delicious. the Elotes was good had good flavor on it. The ambience of the place was great. The music was wonderful. Great for the setting that we were in the service was cool they only take your order and nothing more than that.

I really like this place, the food was great, the employees were outstanding, and the restaurant is very clean. I tried 3 tacos carne asada, baja (fish), and Al pastor. The baja taco was my favorite and the al pastor was very good as well. The tortillas taste like they're made from scratch and the salsa bar has plenty of good options definitely opt for the green salsa or cilantro crema. I also tried some of the California burrito the fries were crispy, the cheese was melted, and the proportions of the ingredients were well balanced. Definitely stop by if you're in the area this spot is worth it.

High quality tacos and burritos. The carne asada is bomb! I like the tacos a little better than the burritos, but you do you. Maybe add chese. Huge, super yummy quesadillas. The elotes are decent too. Fries werent my favorite but they may hit the spot for some folks. Churros are pretty good, could use some other sweet sauces maybe to dip.
