My girlfriend and I are in a distance relationship, and we met up in Dallas for the weekend and came here for dinner one night. This place is a gem. It's an old-school neighborhood bar and grill. The vibe is great, and it was clear that there were a lot of people in there who knew each other and were enjoying just hanging out. Plenty of TVs for watching sports. The drinks were great, and the food is shockingly good. I'm telling you, this is the best bar food you're ever going to have. If we lived in that area, we would be regulars.
Thanks to the owner Jeff for taking great care of us. In fact, we enjoyed our dinner so much on Friday that we came back for Sunday brunch before we each headed back home. If we are ever back up in this area, we will definitely be back.

Mediocre place!
The vibes the music the pool tables etc all good!
But the Food and drinks need work... burnt burger meat on my Nachos and Peach Tea liquior was tasting like powdered flavoring? Uhhh
Haven’t had the food yet as i go late night, but nice chill place and great atmosphere. Definitely go see Andrew.

I went and had a tattoo restored today. Along the way I chose to stop and eat at the whistling pig. While waiting I had a beer. That was too good decisions that I made that day. Bravo!

I come here to eat because the food is very good, reasonably priced, and they do carryout.
Thirteen dollars for a plate of tortilla chips, a sprinkle of ground beef, and a splash of sour cream? Completely ridiculous!

Dark and dingy. Food was just ok. At least the beer was cold. Won't be going back.

It’s not a dive but it’s got the best qualities of a dive bar.

The kind of neighborhood bar you instantly want to call your regular spot. Spacious, welcoming, grandma's den decor with a digital jukebox blasting deep cut live tracks — it's a vibe you can't quite describe but immediately recognize and love.
The blackened chicken alfredo is an absolute must — people say it ruined all other chicken alfredos for them. The Korean fried chicken and margarita flatbread are both fantastic, and the tap selection is surprisingly impressive. Andrew and Tiffany are both standout staff that make every visit better. Open until 2AM every single day. A Dallas hidden gem worth discovering.
