This is our go to place. We always come when we get together for holidays. They cut us off after 2 drinks and when we asked why they just said “we like to be careful.” Think they just wanted us to leave. Won’t come back and not happy about it. You can’t cut people off because you want to go home early.

My partner & I are in town for the holidays from Salt Lake City & were told about Time Out Tavern. Everything that was mentioned by the Uber driver was on point. The atmosphere was chill AF, there's a male bartender with braids who gave exceptional customer service not to mention the door guy was down to earth with a lot of knowledge & that bearded. WOOF! With that said there was a female bartender who could use A LOT of coaching conversations by management as her rudeness was never asked for & customer service lacked. I still give this bar five stars & will recommend it to others.

The lady bartender with the black hair was perhaps the most inconsiderate bartender I have ever met. When we came in we met some friends at a table, after which we went to the bar to order drinks. When we got to the bar, we got the attention of the bartender, who immediately asked us where we were sitting. We were confused, since you only order drinks at the bar, but showed her where our table was. Immediately she told us we were cut off, which confused us as no one had even ordered yet and no one had even had a drink that day. She proceeded to tell us that we ‘didn’t match’ their vibe and would need to move. As we protested, she said our pleas would only be held against us and we needed to move. Confused and upset we left, determined to demonstrate our distaste for this place to which we had been going for years. We witnessed her cut off the two tables next to us as well, a few minutes after taking shots with frat boys. Avoid this place at ALL cost.

Brandon is the best bouncer! He is so friendly, unlike all the others in the area. Come to TOT!

Love the bar but the new to me doorman’s extortion tactic of restricting entry unless you throw him some money makes going back difficult. Hope they can fix that so I can come back.

The manager, Brittany, is easily the nicest and best bartender in the 214/972. Dan is a close second! Great happy hour, great patio and great vibes. Just sayin, it’s a ?dive. HYFR
Love this place and the atmosphere is great, bartenders are fun and friendly! But wasn’t expecting a Michelob Ultra to be $12.00 a bottle given the dive bar hole in the wall vibe. Otherwise I recommend.
