This is a unique little burger joint tucked in a strip mall. As you might guess from the name, barbequed brisket can be added to your burger. But I chose to order a regular burger with fries. Both were good, but I'll probably order the TX Brisket Burger next time. The price was very reasonable at only $10 and that included a drink. The only disappointment was that only canned soda is available instead of fountain drinks. [Stop #83 on The Great DFW Burger Quest]

It hurts my heart to write this review. I do not usually write reviews online, that is more of my wifes thing. However, as a business owner and years of management I felt I had to. I will start by saying the food at this place has always been remarkable and they have never failed me in flavor. But today I call up to order food for my company (this is their first time trying it) I am thinking I am turning them on to my little Dallas secret. The lady that has been there for years answers the phone at 11:15am and ask me to hold, "no problem", she sits the phone down and I hear her taking a customers order thats in front of there at the store. I then hear her cash him out and her walk away. I wait there for another 15 minutes listening to the music in store and the kitchen. I finally after 20 minutes total hang up. I try calling back but because she left the phone off the hook, three tries go straight to VM. So, I decide just to go there and get the food, even though now I will have to leave the store and wait.... So, I get there and let them know that they can hang up their phone now, jokingly. They (the owner I believe and the lady that has always worked the front) act like they dont know what I am talking about until I repeat what the last customers ordered, which I had heard from siting on hold. I tell them its no big deal I just need to order 10 cheeseburgers and 10 fries, she asked if I wanted the drinks and I stated no thank you. So, she charged me for the combo, because it probably saved me a dollar or something each, ok cool its still $109 worth of food. Then I took my seat to wait. As, I sat there they were not their normal friendly selves, they didnt say another word to me in fact. They didn't even offer me a drink while I waited. Nope, just finally after 20 minutes handed me my bags and said "here you go sir". I thank them and drive back to work and pass the food out. I sit down to eat open my box and this is what I see. Maybe a half order of fries, burnt up and dry. I mean I know they are not old being that I was there 30 minutes after they opened. Anyway, the burgers were ok, not the best I have had from there but still good. Again, I really like this place and hate to post negative reviews but I at least wanted the company to know. Myabe it was just a bad morning.... I will go back again and give them another chance someday soon.

First time in Dallas as a California native, & this place is a great experience. First came in and smelled the great bbq cooking. I had the 2 meat plate to get the best of both worlds. Their sauce is very tasty on a sweeter side, but they have a spicy version as well. Friendly staff too! I'll be back soon

I've been driving by here and finally put a plan in place to swing by. I love a DIVY Burger Joint and here, I was in heaven! Heh, burgers and BBQ may be the death of me, but what a way to go :) Easy to get to and in a strip mall. Lots of parking. There is another establishment near it that I've frequented for over 50 years, yes, I'm old. There are places to sit and eat inside. I had to try the Bacon Cheeseburger, Brisket Sandwich, and slice of pecan pie to go. Yes, I was starved and that was the meal for the day. The BBQ sandwich was not overly smoked and the sneaky BBQ sauce lures you in with the sweetness and nips at you later with a little heat. The burger was good, filling and very tasty. The pecan pie was worth not eating for 2 meals to have. While waiting on my order, I studied the walls. Really cool beer bottle top artwork. Lots of smile worthy signage. Nice BBQ smoke tinge in the air. I'm glad this place wasn't around when I was a teenager as my arteries would have been plugged by 35. :)

Average is really all I can say. The service and am assuming owner and cook were excellent. Very nice people. I had the brisket sandwich and fries, BBQ was excellent. Brisket, not much flavor. Would I go back, yes.

It's been over two years now... At the time I considered them worth raving about. I am no BBQ-connoisseur. At the same time, I can recognize the unique qualities of a delicious home cooked style meal. I've stopped in to pick up sandwiches and I've ordered the larger baskets for in the home party dinner. Always impressive! I also inn. willingness to spend more for high-quality, found them a tad pricey. But I have little to compare them with. I would not consider them "fast food".

It was pretty good. I called in my order and got the brisket baked potato, a side of Mac and cheese, and a pecan pie. My roommate ordered the chop beef sandwich, she was not a fan of the bbq sauce. Brisket was cooked well, tender. Mac and cheese was pretty good, cheesy. I love how they cut the potato. Price was standard for bbq.

Another hole in the wall kind of place. Don't let it slide by you. The BBQ here is probably the best BBQ that I've had so far in Dallas. I am also not going to wait 4-6 hours in line on the weekend for BBQ either. But for it being a BBQ place that I can walk in and get served, it was great. It had everything I wanted, Brisket - which was NOT dry and very seasoned, sausage, ribs, bbq beans, and potato salad. another location in Dallas that serves delicious potato salad because I am extremely picky when it comes to that. My fiance got a burger and the burger here was delicious too. I love a good burger that has that backyard taste to it.

Good burgers with no atmosphere. The beef used has true beef flavor. You are here for the food !!!
