El Tiz Tizoncito Forest is a highly-recommended, family-run taqueria that offers amazing Tex-Mex and Mexican-style dishes. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, with attentive and precise service. The menu features a variety of delicious street tacos, including tacos de bistec, chuleta, and the popular torta de milanesa, as well as a tasty parrillada (mixed grill) that allows customers to sample a bit of everything.
The black beans served as an appetizer are particularly praised, with some customers even highlighting the best black beans soup as a unique alternative to traditional chips and salsa. The prices are considered fair given the quality of the food, and the good selection of agua frescas, micheladas, and refreshing drinks adds to the experience. While the small interior may not accommodate large groups, the staff is known to be accommodating and friendly, making it perfect for a family or casual dining experience.
Overall, El Tiz Tizoncito Forest is a great place to enjoy authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine, with a focus on friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. Customers have also enjoyed takeout and have noted generous portions and great music played in the restaurant.
