We were in Dallas yesterday and decided to visit Uchi’s Dallas location. For context, we’re regulars at Uchi Houston and I’ve also dined at Uchi Austin and Uchi Scottsdale so I say this with genuine appreciation for the brand.

The Dallas space is beautiful. Contemporary, polished, and it feels recently refreshed. The ambiance is warm but elevated, and the staff were pleasant and courteous from start to finish. Service was kind and professional.

The food was not worth the price. We also had multiple dishes brought out that were wrong and while the waiter was great and apologetic, the review comes down to the cost of the food vs the quality of the food… and the cost was way higher than the quality.

The food was absolutely amazing — truly top quality. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. Different servers came to drop off and take orders, and our main server barely checked on us. There wasn’t much excitement or attentiveness, and it honestly felt like he didn’t want to be there.
