I ordered the salmon mayo onigiri and it was mostly rice with salmon garnished on top. Less than half a scoop of salmon inside the onigiri. I paid $8 for rice with a garnish of salmon. The rice didn’t taste flavorful either, and it didn’t even taste like sticky rice that’s usually used for onigiri (in my experience) their veggie ramen was okay and my husband said their tomato ramen tasted like eating lasagna in a bowl which wasn’t bad. We got yakisoba and curry to go and it had to be the worst curry we’ve ever had. He didn’t even finish the plate after one taste of the curry sauce. If you want Japanese curry go to coco ichibanya in Frisco.
Food was sooo good. Got 3 slices of pork with the Tonkotsu ramen. The Gyudon Bowl was delicious!
Definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area
We had the veggie gyoza, spicy veg ramen along with the chicken shoyu ramen and omu soba. My friend recommended this place and it was really good. Izakaya experience with good food. Couldn’t ask for more. The gyoza was especially really good with the dip( don’t know exact term). 5 * recommendation for this place.
My friend living legend UJMA suggested this place. Veggie Yakisoba tasted delicious. UJMA ordered fresh veggie ramen, but couldn't finish it (not because of taste though, taste is awesome). Quantity is tummy satisfying!!
I had miso ramen. It was great!
I loved the atmosphere!! Great food, amazing music, even better service
A great place for ramen! I loved the salmon onigiri and the Waya pork buns.
I judge every place by their gyoza. 100% recommend this place to a friend, family member, favorite uncle. The spicy gyoza is to dieeee for.

I don’t have complaints about the food. 1st the waiting for the food to serve: is so slow, maybe because of lacking in man power? 2nd no FORKSSSSS: yes we’re asian but not all asian know how to use chopsticks especially the younger ones. We have 2 and 3 yrs old, they don’t know how to use chopsticks, so we ask forks for them to use but unfortunately no forks available. 3rd poor service: the last time we came here, the services was ok and because of that we recommended this restaurant to our love ones. But there’s always a second chance. ❤️ we still love the foods, it’s really delicious especially the spicy gyoza. I think this restaurant needs improvement in terms of serving and resources.
Kid-friendliness: No proper utensils (forks) for ramen.

If I could give this place zero stars I would ! One worker was so rude - came in 3 mins before opening - door was open - to an employee relaxing and having a coke saying- “we open at 5! Okay we leave and he gets up and follows us out to lock the door and made us wait three minutes! At this point I’m annoyed but okay - so at 5 pull the door handle and the same guy opens it ! I say - thank you for making us wait for 3 mins- and his response was “if you don’t like it you could have gone somewhere else - which we turned around left ! What happened to service ?!?? I mean 3 mins till opening ?? Why was the door open if they were not ready for clients ?! We don’t need rude people handling our food ! No thank you !

Waya is truly delicious! Favorites are the Tonkotsu, Onigiri and Dumplings. Give Waya a try. You won't regret it!
