Bartender was very easy going and knows how to make a drink to perfection. I don't like an overly strong drink and his was perfect. I went to watch a friend to do stand up. I really enjoyed all the acts. And cover was not expensive either. I give Wits End 5 stars.

Security is terrible and rude here on the weekends. Crazy how badly a BAR treats patrons that are DRINKING in said bar. Bad for business if ya ask me, but the big loud lady at the door claims she's been here for years. Apparently it's part of the norm.

As an introverts, I was suprised to feel very welcome and comfortable here, despite it being very loud, crowded, and overall high energy.A great place for metalheads and despite how scary everyone might look, they can be extremely friendly people.

Security kicked us out for asking the DJ to play a song. Classy place.
We went out for one of my close friend’s birthday they needed to use the bathroom and the were born female and was not told that there was a second bathroom for “females” and they identify non binary a straight male customer rushed them out the mens restroom as they identified as non binary and made them very emotional,.. nothing was done and we left due to making my friend very uncomfortable with who they are. They are not friendly and let their customers treat anyone any type of way with no solutions.

A couple of friends and I came across this place a few weeks ago while venturing Deep Ellum. We popped in and had a few drinks. So the 1st thing I noticed was the late 90's early 2000's H-tine music that was playing. I was there for it! I noticed there was a sign for a upstairs patio so we headed up. The patio was an open space with seating around the perimeter. There was a stage and a bar located upstairs. On this particular day there was a DJ (didn't get his name). The dj played a a mix of old and new which a throughly enjoyed. I was there maybe an hour to hour & a half, enjoyed every damn minute!
