Serves food until 2am. Only game in town after 1. Had to take a Greyhound, called a bar closer to bus station and they sent me to this place. Great burger and ginger beer. Excellent service, nice price too. Thank y'all very kindly

Ye Old Scarlett Pumpernickel is the kind of spot you want to settle into for the night. The drinks are always on point — strong, well-made, and quick to arrive. The atmosphere hits that perfect sweet spot between lively and laid-back, making it a place you can enjoy any day of the week. As a regular, I have to say Brittany & Franklin are amazing very friendly, attentive, and always making sure everyone feels welcome. And Jeremiah in the kitchen is just as impressive, serving up food that’s flavorful, consistent, and made with care. This is more than just a bar; it’s my go-to spot to unwind, see familiar faces, and feel at home.

Great local spot. Have an industry discount every day for those of us who it matters to. Bartenders are always attentive and quick with a drink. Music is loud enough but not overbearing. Always good options on the screens to watch.

This place is a hidden gem in downtown Dallas. All the food from the kitchen is made in house and it's delicious. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend the chicken fried steak, but I don't think you'll go wrong ordering anything off the menu here.

A good dive bar - the food menu was a bit frustrating as the online menu wasn't correct, but no paper menus and the menu was on a tablet.

Beer list is on a board, Liquor is pointing and picking on what's behind the counter, does have an extensive selection of whisky.

I ordered a burger, was overall good, but from the description it had lettuce, tomatoes and onions (no pickles mentioned)on the burger. I ordered no LTO but didn't say no pickles because it didn't say that on the menu. It came with pickles which I took off but the burger still tasted of pickles so that kind of ruined the taste overall.

We were there on a Friday around 445/5 as we were seeing a show at 7 and it was definitely a slow and dead time, but it looks like it would be really lively with more people and later in the evening.

Have been there last week and went out after two minutes. The young lady does not seem to be interested in explaining to me the beers available nor to serve me... I strongly advise her to find another occupation.
