This place is all about money and not customers. Tony (manager) is rude and couldn’t care less about the customer’s experience.

this place is all about money. Tony (manager) could care less about a customer and he is more concerned about the income. food is ok but customer service is 0. Would give less stars if I could. Watch out.

This sushi restaurant is truly impressive. The food is fresh, clean, and the omakasa are the best. Diverse menu and polite service. Will definitely come back!

Everything was so perfect! I spent my night here to celebrate my birthday. The food is deliciously fresh, the chef was so nice and made me a special sake drink for my birthday which i love so much. What a great experience and worth the price.

Very affordable Omakase experience. I have tried many in Dallas, Scottsdale and Miami. The staff were awesome and accommodating. We showed up to our reservation accidentally making a mistake and making the reservation online a week later. We waited for about 15 min and they accommodated us! We were so grateful! Great ambiance in the restaurant! Food was good too! Service was excellent. Sushi chefs were very easy to talk to.

My Asian Grub in DF Dub Facebook group did not steer me wrong. I've been looking for a really amazing omakase spot in DFW that's comparable to my favorite omakase spots in Los Angeles and this is the one right here. I almost don't want to share this review. I want to gate-keep the heck out of this place. I don't even know where to begin. Going to this place was kind of sketch, I'm not going to lie. We entered through the Shell parking lot into this huge strip mall. Don't let this deter you to coming here because it's deceptively beautiful inside too with incredible food! I made reservations on Tock and promptly got seated. We arrived 10 minutes early. They take a $25/person non-refundable deposit when you reserve, but they put it towards your bill at the end. We knew we wanted the omakase experience so we did the Tokujo omakase tasting which was 16 courses including appetizers and dessert. It was market price, but we paid around $160 per person. We also had the sake pairing. Everything that the chef put out in front of us was a work of art, as you can see from the pictures. Everything was unbelievably fresh and tasty. I can't pinpoint to one particular dish that I loved, but there are a few that come to mind -- this red snapper with a yuzu glaze, scallop with uni on top, and the unagi with foil gras. Each course was a perfect story of a journey the chef wanted to take us on. I would definitely come back here again. I think I might be obsessed.

If you're interested in exploring a Japanese omakase dinner experience without going into debt, I recommend trying Yujo off Preston in Dallas. Their 13-course 'Miyabi' omakase is very approachable at $75 per person and offers a good variety - small appetizers (otsumami), sashimi, nigiri, a temaki (handroll), chawanmushi (egg custard), shiru (soup), and a really tasty mango ice cream dessert. The fish quality was solid, not mind blowing, but good - and had a variety preparations like raw, torched, smoked, and dry-aged. Many of the flavor combinations were surprisingly good and unexpected. Service was also excellent! Our chef, Paul, was friendly and knowledgeable, and even threw in an exceptional extra nigiri bite at the end. While service is much less formal than Dallas's premier omakase spots, the team executes it very well, especially given they have multiple omakase options going on asynchronously with guest coming in and out - impressive. The lighting could be a little dimmer, and honestly, the smooth jazz saxophone music felt awkward and out of place against the beautiful interior; they 100% need a better playlist to create a vibe to match their brand. My biggest complaint is that they didn't cater to our individual dietary restrictions. I have a shellfish sensitivity, so neither my wife nor I got the shrimp course (and she loves shrimp!). My wife is pescatarian, so we both missed out on the beef course. That was a major disappointment for a Texas meat man like me (yes, I said meat man). Overall, Yujo provides a really solid 13-course omakase experience at a great price. It's unfortunately not at the unrivaled level of Dallas heavyweights like Tatsu, Shoyo, and The Sushi | Bar (with an honorable mention to Uchi, but that's not the same omakase-level experience), but it's a fantastic alternative when you want a delicious night out, can easily snag a reservation, and don't want to end up a homeless hobo because the cost of dinner wiped out your savings. Thumbs up and definitely worth investigating if you are omakase curious.

I visited yesterday .I am a person who really try to look for a good Japanese restraints in Dallas. Sushi is not that bad but sushi chef grab rice to make nigiri then touch refrigerator door with same gloves. After I saw that I lost all my appetite. Sushi is raw food so it should be very be careful.

My wife and I have never done Omakase, so I figured her Birthday would be an awesome chance as she loves sushi & sashimi! The vibe of the place was cool and cute (small and intimate space) and the servers/waiters were very nice! Our sushi chef was explaining every bite and open to questions, we loved every bite we had!The drinks were awesome too, my wife loved the Summer Day one.We would definitely come back, the price makes it more approachable than others and the quality and value were top notch!
