ZAAP Kitchen Lao & Thai TAKE OUT

My stomach is in knots! Idk what that man was doing in that kitchen but it wasn’t sanitary!
I reached out to my friend to ask how they were doing and they said they were also experiencing stomach pains.

We won’t eat here again.

The service was great by the cashiers up front. They helped us decide what to order and were very friendly.

The store is small so there’s no room to sit inside to eat only outside. And a table or two was dirty.

Lastly, I ordered a 5 for maximum spice and it felt/tasted like a 3. Spice should mean spice. I wanted my eyes watering. Instead it’s my butt. lol

We absolutely love this place. Some of the best thai food we’ve ever had, and excellent service. Food is full of flavor, great portions, and is ready very quick! They catered for our tea ceremony and everyone was raving about how good they were!

Any time I am even around this area I stop here. The food is really great and it has good portion sizes. The first time I went the people were very helpful (I had never had thai food before) and guided me to something we all thought I would like. Will continue to go here!

We accidentally placed our order at the wrong location, but Mariana was incredibly kind and accommodating. She went above and beyond to prepare our order at the location we arrived at, which we truly appreciated. We ordered Pad Thai, and it was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try Thai food — 10/10 experience!

Mariana was great! We were stranded in the cold with no food but out nowhere she came provided us nutrients after she saved a burning building filled with lost puppies. She is not a great worker but a hero to a country that needs one. We are forever in her debt

Purchased the drunken noodles and after a few bites discovered a sharp bone in my food. I called the store to ask for a refund and the employee I spoke to did nothing to rectify the situation or apologize.

In fact, after 2 minutes of explaining what was wrong with my food, the person over the phone said “what’s wrong with your order?” and asked me to call the store “tomorrow” because they aren’t a manager.

Bad customer service. I’ve ordered from here for years and won’t be ordering again after this experience.

I got food poisoning from here! I see others got it recently as well. Beware! Sucks getting this before thanksgiving. I feel terrible.

11/2 update we emailed them as they requested below. Gave it 1 week and no response. Stay away.

Visited before an NBA game. Restaurant is walkable distance from American Airlines center. Ordered curry fried rice (level 4). Great balance of heat and flavor. Portion size very generous for the price. May try level 5 next time if I'm feeling adventurous. Will visit again!

Be careful. Got a stomach virus after eating here. Might’ve been the shrimp but no telling what it actually was. Won’t ever eat here again.
