So far we have been here 2 times and each time we left with happy bellys! The first time I got caldo de pollo and the second time tacos. Let me tell you I am a sucker for soup and I was not disappointed. Very flavorful and great portions! The tacos were huge I could only eat 1 and omg the frijoles charros 🤤. I'm so happy we found this place.

My husband I moved to Decatur last September and Nueva Era was the first restaurant we tried. I must say, we have been on the hunt for authentic Mexican food and this place hits it all! Chips are crispy and salsa is so good! The food is always amazing and service is excellent.

$18 for a 3 tacos plate seems steep, especially when the only thing they put in it is meat. Thats it. The service was a 10/10 very friendly and attentive. But we wont be back because of the high prices and low quality plates.
