An old-school steakhouse that keeps it simply and (mostly) good. Tucked in the corner of Decatur Square, the plethora of wood, both walls and benches, help it stand out and let you know what vibe to expect inside. The interior is as homey as you can get, with wood sculptures and dainty vintage curtains lining the walls while golden-era country music plays. The staff is filled with friendly young faces, who have a good understanding of the menu. Speaking of, it's pretty straightforward, with just a few options in each category, so they're definitely into doing a few things very well...which they usually do. Our last visit wound up with several steaks being undercooked, but the staff didn't hesitate to make it right, including the manager.
If you find yourself up in Wise County, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better option for a good ol' ribeye.

This restaurant is phenomenal! Abbie was our server and was attentive. I got blackened chicken and my friend got a ribeye. The food was amazing, so were the rolls. We had a mix up at checkout so I called management the next day. I spoke with a woman manager and Walter and they went out of their way to fix the mistake. I can’t wait to come back!

When I say the food was to die for I'm not kidding. My medium rare steak was cooked to utter perfection. The steamed broccoli had the perfect amount of butter and the gravy was fantastic. 11/10 recommend! Diana was an amazing server!

This place was a delight! The service was quick and are server was nice. The food is plentiful. I had the broccoli soup. My friend had a burger and seasoned mushrooms. On top of that, the prices are reasonable. You have to try it. 👍

The food has great flavor. Their breads and biscuits are so soft and aromatic. Affordable! Liked the old-time pictures

I ordered the ribeye steak and it was tough and it had too much fat on it. I did not care for the steak much at all it was hard on the outside. When I was asked how the meal was I told the cashier I was unsatisfied she apologized. I paid and then talked to the manager. The manager apologized also but since I had paid he could not reduce the cost of the meal and did not offer any other alternative. It was by far the worst experience I've had at this restaurant which I've gone to for years.

I've reviewed the location many times. It's great. You have understand that IF a restaurant has been in business this long, they KNOW something that works! In their case, they know multiple things! The meat is aged well and cooked properly. The sides are delicious and try to find room for dessert. You might be mad at me for telling you to eat more. But, OMG, are the desserts done well!
