A deer park institution. The filippos family has been running the business for over fifty four years. Now the two boys are running the place with her mother. Their father passed away ten years ago and they lost their sister to cancer eight years ago. The food quality is amazing. Fresh made hamburger patties everyday homemade. Onion rings and great gyros, that are authentic as greek can be. Give them a shot they are great family and they know how to cook great food.
Terrible service. Owner lectured on proper way of ordering because “he loses money if you don’t choose correct options when ordering online.” We ordered burgers with fries and onion rings and received no fries or onion rings. This was our 2nd and last time eating here as employees very short and rude both times.
We were blessed to have meet Nick. As a first responder to disasters such as tornados, there is not a lot of time to eat. We were tarping all day into the night. We were tarping Nick's house due to damage and I ask him if he knew a place to heat close by. He sheared that Charburger was family business fo 50yrs. With decent off-street parking and credit card acceptance, it's a convenient choice. Although it is not the fanciest place, it remains a nice locals secret, making it a must-visit for anyone looking for great food. Char Burger continues to be a beloved institution, worth visiting several times a year.
