So so good. Breakfast so good make you wanna slap your mamma silly and and sausage gravy taste so good you wanna sop-it-up-wit-a-biscuit, bacon 🥓 so crispy every bite make you think you are the chiropractors, and scrambled eggs as soft and fluffy as the features on that gal you dated for all the wrong reasons. And I don’t know about the Salty part, dem heifers dat done served me twas nice as could be, like kin folk playing nice at grandmama-n-nems Haus.
What a wonderful little treat this place is! Food, service and atmosphere are all amazing! Like dinning at your best friends place (who also happens to be an amazing cook) 🤗! This was my first time here and the only thing that topped the food was the genuinely beautiful souls who worked and ran the place. I had the steak fingers (amazing) and the breakfast bomb (AKA- bombshell). I highly recommend either. Can’t wait to try more on the menu. Oh and the coffee was great too!
We visited from out of town, and chose The Salty Heiffer based on reviews. The Waffles & Bacon were both really delicious, and the staff was friendly and welcoming as well.

The Salty Heifer Cafe is a wonderful little treat and one of the best breakfast spots around. The food, service, and atmosphere are all amazing, like dining at your best friend's place. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely beautiful souls who run the place. The home-style cooking is cooked to perfection, fast and friendly, and keeps you full all day.
The breakfast is so good, with bacon so crispy and scrambled eggs as soft and fluffy. The sausage gravy tastes so good you wanna sop-it-up-wit-a-biscuit. The Waffles & Bacon are really delicious. The Breakfast Bomb, also known as the bombshell, is huge and amazing—these alone are worth the trip. The steak fingers are amazing. The Texas burrito is loaded with everything then just smothered in gravy. Little Joe's hashbrowns and a biscuit on the side are heavenly, and the biscuit tasted so good it melted in your mouth. The Double River Biscuit and the Waffle Combo are great, and the coffee was great too. There is plenty of food for 2 people and it is very affordable. The atmosphere is pleasant.
