Yellow Dog was one of our bar sponsors for the Mrs. Roper Romp on Denton Square! They even had Three's Company on the tv!

Yellow Dog is tops for a place to hang out downtown. John & Jacqi have built a really great environment which is inviting and has something for everyone of all ages. If you're looking for a family friendly daytime place to hang out and do a fun artistic activity, a place to catch some live music, karaoke or a quirky gun film, Yellow Dog has you covered. Did I mention their live mascot who's there any time you find John who's amazing art lines the walls. Seriously stop in, have a drink, take a look around and say hi. You'll immediately feel welcomed.

Was really wonderful listening to local songwriters last night. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Drinks fairly priced. Really enjoyed the venue

My favorite bar, I highly recommend going on Thursdays for Bad Movie Bingo if you love cheesy old movies and happy hour until close(prizes are custom shot glasses and bar bucks!), overall a great and chill place

The bartender was amazing!! Atmosphere was amassing, restroom were clean, and happy hour is VERYYYYY reasonable, pls consider going! Cutest bar I’ve ever been to 1000/10

This place is crazy enough to even let an unknown starving artist with raw talent and some potential walk inside and well ... just jam with their musicians ... And they let me bring my one dog that is well behaved in public spaces every time they aren't busy! Not all heroes wear capes 🤣 some give pickle shots and save out of shape wannabe runners after the Wednesday 5k. I didn’t catch her name but she deserves a shout out bc she basically brought me back to life. Will definitely be back!

The art on the walls i believe is mostly done by the owner. They have a room that customers can draw!

Have wanted to check This place out, and finally stopped by recently. Very cozy spot with good vibes, kind people, and great art. Will be back and recommend to others looking for a nice spot to land in Denton.
