This place is crazy enough to even let an unknown starving artist with raw talent and some potential walk inside and well ... just jam with their musicians ... And they let me bring my one dog that is well behaved in public spaces every time they aren't busy! Not all heroes wear capes 🤣 some give pickle shots and save out of shape wannabe runners after the Wednesday 5k. I didn’t catch her name but she deserves a shout out bc she basically brought me back to life. Will definitely be back!

The art on the walls i believe is mostly done by the owner. They have a room that customers can draw!

Have wanted to check This place out, and finally stopped by recently. Very cozy spot with good vibes, kind people, and great art. Will be back and recommend to others looking for a nice spot to land in Denton.

Walked in on a whim, because who doesn’t like art and a bar? Left with three Bramblitt prints and a new place to frequent. Recommend to anyone looking for a fun little spot on the square in Denton.

Have always loved this bar as a Karaoke spot. Unfortunately though I tried to go last night and one of the bartenders was incredibly rude to me and my group. She was the blonde bartender wearing a gray hoodie. I ordered 2 drinks and the entire interaction she was treating me like a major burden. She even denied one of my group members for having an ID that was only 3 days expired, which was most unfortunate considering we were out celebrating his birthday. We had planned to stay there for the majority of the night but had to go to another bar because of this. Like I said previously I've always loved going to this bar and it saddens me that people like her work there now.

Possibly my favorite spot in Denton! The owners and staff are wonderful, drinks are delicious, and the art displays are lovely! I love the artistic environment, where I can create while I hang out.

The Yellow Dog is absolutely fantastic. There are so many fun events here, from poetry to movies to open mic night. I am glad a place like this exists. Also, the titular Yellow Dog is absolutely the best boy/girl in this world and I will not budge from this stance.
