“This is by far the best donut shop in Texas. The owners/staff are so friendly and kind. Our family visits every week, and they always make it a special day for our son. They made custom donuts for our son’s birthday that were absolutely perfect!“

“If you're looking for some straight-forward donuts from a shop with decent hours and affordable prices, then Dandy is a solid option. What I don't love is the somewhat limited selection of donuts, and the way that certain items (like eclairs and sprinkle donuts) come in a variety of forms, and you're never sure what you're getting when ordering online. If you're someone who likes their filled donuts stuffed to the breaking point, then you may absolutely love Dandy's style. Not my favorite donut joint in town, but a genuinely reliable one.“

“This has become my new favorite donut shop, since Ozzy's in Lake Dallas changed ownership. The glazed donuts, which I rarely choose, are amazing! They will let you find this out by giving you a few donut holes every time! They absolutely melt in your mouth.I always judge a donut shop by their apple fritter. And this place does it very well. Actual pieces of apple, believe it or not! And a little bit crispy, a little bit crunchy, and just the right pull apart texture.“

“The sweetest little donut shop, with such lovely ladies behind the counter!! We were immediately created upon entering and had the best experience ordering. The cake donuts are fantastic as well at the kolaches We chose to dine in and observed 3-4 families come in within a 15 minute time period, each one being greeted with a friendly “hello” and smile.New favorite spot for a sweet treat on a slow morning!“

“Ok, when I genuinely say these are the BEST donuts I’ve ever had, I mean it. They are fluffy and almost airy, and the pigs are good too, good flavor and good bread. If you don’t know what to get, go for the cinnamon twist :) it’s great“

“Showed up right when they opened. They actually open on time, which is great! Cake donuts are super soft and tender, and have a really good flavor. The kolaches are amazing. The sausages aren't too spicy, and the bread has a perfect rise. Boston cream filling is good! Plus, they're affordable. This is my new regular donut spot!“

“BEWARE! Other donuts will taste WEIRD after you’ve gotten used to these! Denton is spoiled to have this place. My favorite donut shop EVER. The croissant rolls are a nice touch and not too $$. We are also obsessed with the k-pop music videos they have playing.“
“This is one of those places that surprise you. When you walk in it looks rough but after a year of searching for the perfect Kolaches in Denton I found them here. Amys might have the creativity but the flavors of a classic donut and TX Kolaches are HERE at Teasley Donut. Please go support them“
“Back Dough feels like one of the best kept secrets in the DFW area. The concept is pretty simple. They're only open for a few hours weekly on both Friday and Saturday nights, and they operate out the back of a popular Steakhouse. There are only ever two items, maybe three on their menu, $6 each. These menu items most commonly come in the form of a gourmet donut, but tonight showed me they sometimes spice things up (tonight offered an Italian steak and pepper sandwich!) Tonight's donut offering was Tiramisu.Unfortunately I ate the evidence and didn't snag any good photos, but let me just say that Back Dough has the absolute best and freshest gourmet donut offerings in the DFW area. You're not going to find a better donut anywhere, truly. Believe me; I've tried very passionately. They don't serve up absolute banger flavors every week, but if you're fortunate enough to go when they're offering something like their Maple Bacon flavored donut... My god. Restaurant quality bacon with amazing delicious creme filling... You're not going to find anywhere else serving something like that unless they're a fancy dining establishment. It's a truly unique experience. I'll try to snap some photos next time I go.If you're having a drink on the Denton Square on a Friday or Saturday night, do yourself a favor and watch the clock, and when it's about 5 minutes till 10 PM, mosey on over to Back Dough and get yourself a gourmet donut you won't find anywhere else. I'd recommend getting there right when they open so they're not sold out on any flavors. The demand can get crazy at times.“

“Donutly makes the premium donuts of my dreams. The menu is so creative, and the taste is amazing. You must try the Creme Brulee donut - I don't know how they get the taste so close. I recommended this donut to a friend visiting from Seattle (who is VERY particular about creme brulee) and he loved it.“
