We were greeted quickly by the lovely owner, she took our order and then chatted with us a bit. We order chips and salsa, the salsa was good. The chips a little thicker than we like but still good. I had a carnitas taco. The taco was on a flour tortilla, with onion and cilantro. The pork was very tender and good. I also had the fajita chicken taco. I would order them both as street tacos next time. My husband had the chicken flauta and quesadilla. The chicken was moist, and the flauta was tasty. Glass bottle cokes for drinks. My husband tried the fountain Mountain Dew but we just aren't fountains soda fans. We will definitely return. And wish this lovely couple of 45 years many more years of happiness.

We stopped here for a late lunch while visiting my niece at UNT. It has a welcoming, pleasant atmosphere and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The owner was incredibly friendly and kind. My niece accidentally left her keys here and when we were retracing our steps and landed back at Mi Casita they had just closed for the day, but the owner had her keys and had been waiting for us to come back. Great family-run establishment!

Poor customer service and do not advertise their many upcharges on their menu. They did not have table service. Many better priced places in denton including table service + chips and salsa. I do not recommend this place.

Service and food were both bad.Their prices listed are false and they charge for everything. Burrito is supposed to 8.99 but they said it was 12.99 after I ordered steak. When I said it says 8.99 in the menu, the cashier laughed and said beef if 19.99 per pound- sarcastic and rude! Wouldn’t give them my business or recommend them to my friends.

I get my breakfast here on my way to work frequently, the staff are always very nice and the food is tasty at a great price. I have had no issues with them and I always like their customer service and food.

I didn't take any pictures, unfortunately, because was hungry and just wanted to eat. I ordered the "mi Casita" burrito with chicken and no sour cream and it wasn't the worst I've eaten, it was far from the best. My biggest complaint was that the burrito wasn't wrapped very good at all, causing it to literally fall apart in my hand....I literally had to rip the tortilla and try to get as much filling in it as I could since there was no way to eat it like a burrito since just picking it up was impossible. Also for a Mexican food place, it was very much Tex-Mex and the only meat option they had was beef or chicken. At least the beans tasted like they prob make it there, but there was so much in that burrito that I couldn't taste the chicken until the burrito was half gone. Also at no point could I taste the guacamole at all. The hot sauce they provided was very mild, and no kick to it at all. Service wasn't bad, though, and the guy taking the orders seemed nice though (the owner, I think)
The food here is always fresh and well seasoned. They offer a very authentic Hispanic experience , as far as cuisine in addition to the atmosphere, and great customer service. So far I've only had their tacos/breakfast tacos, burritos, and chips and salsa/guacamole and I still can't pick a favorite.

I walked into this restaurant not knowing what to expect. Not only was the food great the owner was so friendly and personable. He shared his journey and how he came to have such a great restaurant. This family is very hard working and the food is pretty authentic. I ordered the fresh guacamole and chicken fajita nachos. They were both delicious and fresh! The salsa was pretty good as well a little spice, but a lot of flavour.We definitely will be back to enjoy their outdoor sitting.
