We went to this wonderful resteraunt yesterday for brunch after my son's graduation. It was amazing. We ordered a variety of dishes and everyone was so pleased...delicious. Our waiter was so attentive and the owner visited with us and was so friendly. He is originally from Belgium and the waffles were his family recipe. He even sent us with to go coffee for our trip home. Loved this place!

We had such an amazing time at this cafe! The food was great and the mimosas were delicious, the lavender especially. Moe was super friendly and even let us try a watermelon mimosa that’s not on the menu yet, which added a nice personal touch. Our waitress, Sidney, was sweet and attentive, taking great care of us. Highly recommend for good drinks, tasty food, and a welcoming atmosphere!

I got a veggie burrito today and oh, they must know how much everyone loves eggshells in their food! I got a few nice sized pieces in there too, lucky me. What an experience. I likely won't be coming here again... that's my bad though, I knew I should've went with the pancakes. They can't go wrong with pancakes... or can they? I don't think I'll ever know. Do better, Rising Sun Cafe.
P.S what's up with the random 2 olives that were in my burrito? Lol

Yesterday, I was craving an ube/taro latte and scoured all over denton for a quality one and wasn’t able to. Until, I found this cafe i’ve never heard of before. I went in and the owner was very friendly, the workers were super nice, and the ube/taro latte i got was the best i’ve ever had!

Super cute breakfast spot right off 35. Staff was very kind and attentive. We got the chicken with biscuit and eggs along with a waffle and the grits bowl. Highly recommend and can’t believe there weren’t more people in there!

Went here one night our usual place was closed the service was great and was quick I ordered the ghost pepper burger it was massive and delicious the side of fries was probably double what most places give. My wife ordered the veggie omelet it was also massive and the sides were also large. Will be visiting again. More the owner actually talked to us for quite awhile he loves to cook
