My husband & I went here last night for the first time. It was very easy to order from the friendly staff. We ordered the Catfish Ricky, fried pork chops with greens & fries & the catfish special. Everything was delicious 😋 We will definitely continue to dine at this great establishment. We will also tell our family & friends about it. ❤️
Went there last Friday and
1. I did not smell a hint of a boil so I did not order the crawfish plus it was $9.99 lb. Too high.
2. The lady taking orders was not friendly at all. No one was in the restaurant (ma’am we are the only people in here ordering) everyone was next door at the Fire Side Kitchen
3. I ordered the fried shrimp basket and it was not it! $18 bucks for some rubbery shrimp definitely not wild caught shrimp.

A Taste of Cajun is a very clean establishment with a chill vibe and great atmosphere, though the space is tiny with limited seating. The food is amazingly delicious, fantastic, and well seasoned. Many dishes are highlighted, including the Thursday special of turkey necks, potatoes, sausage, and corn, noted for being tender, flavorful, and full of meat. The fried catfish is fresh and fried perfectly, while the blackened salmon, fried shrimp, Cajun eggrolls, Cajun potato, seafood boil, blackened catfish with rice and creamy seafood sauce, and neckbones are all delicious. Sides like dirty rice, greens, cornbread, and the bread pudding are also fresh and delicious. The place is cook to order, so patience is recommended, and calling in an order to go is a best bet. The owners are very nice people who make customers feel at home, providing good service with a positive attitude. Portions are good and reasonably priced, often providing leftovers. It is a pleasant surprise and definitely worth a return visit.
