“This Checkers is located inside a Fuel Max Convenient Store. They also have a drive-thru window. The staff is always friendly when we stop in as we travel through Devers, Texas. They have the best fish sandwiches and my husband loves the double fish sandwich. Their fries have the best flavor. Checks burgers taste grilled and are cooked generally when we order them. They are good about having specials that are reasonably priced. My granddaughter love cheeseburgers and says theirs is one of the best for fast food.Parking: It has a large parking area that people who are pulling trailers, lowboy, etc. can park to go inside to eat or just order.”

“Everything we ordered was delicious, large portions and piping hot...good prices also! It was by far the best food I've ever had. In my opinion, no fast food can come close in comparison...and very few restaurants! We had the fish basket, bacon cheeseburger basket and boudain balls. The 3 fish filets were big and fried perfectly...juicy not dry and hard...there was so much bacon on the burger it was falling out...not tiny, hard, dried pieces...they were cooked perfectly. The boudain balls were nice sized and very tastey. The fries were piping hot and tender...not hard, dry end pieces.”
