“Maybe I'm biased, but working on the ILS/radios here over the years, I have never had a bad experience at the cafe! Lunch at the airport is what I always look forward to when heading to Lufkin! Fries & the Jr burger are enough to fill an adult up. A full size burger might leave you feeling woozy, like you ate too much! ;) Don't say I didn't warn you! I've brought my family here a couple times when the kids were still young enough to enjoy visiting the nearby Lufkin Zoo (another hidden gem).“

“Food was okay last time, but with each cook it varies. You are going to have to be specific if you want low sodium. I would have liked less soy sauce and less sauce on my vegetables. It is a little pricey and one plate of hibachi has a lot of food, so if you wanted to you could share it with someone in my opinion. The soup is always nice and great service. (:“

We were expecting Catfish fillets but got stripes/ nuggets! Affordable yes $12.99 but marketing need to advertise catfish stripes or shrimp vs prawns. The salad bar was awesome and the baked potato was piping hot and delicious The desert are so delicious and affordable $2.95 less than $4.We ordered the peach cobbler & pecan pie.Suggest some whip cream to top it off is what we did once we got to Shreveport! Drive way off 10 ft.if you pass it up you gotta circle back around about a 1/2 mile again. Perhaps John Deere and Catfish King could collaborate in a backside gravel road or entry from 11am-6pm for the traveling folk like us! Directly next door to the other but no shared parking space! Travelers go down memory lane of unlimited Hot Catfish fillets at least let it be an option in 2024!

Parking: Have a drive through but if you miss the turn in drive, A driver have to go to the stop sign and make a turn on the frontage road 1/2 mile back! Solution: John Deere is next door but no entry parking or drive thru but they could collaborate on an open entry for both business bc many folk are driving thru and getting quotes for farm equipment ;yet we all gotta eat too! Gravel drive from the backside of John Deere too! We pass here at least 2 times per month from Shreveport to Houston!“

“I’ve always enjoyed CrackerBarrel shopping and the food. Food use to be good. Last 3 times we have been to Lufkin Cracker Barrel the food was no good not worth the money or my time. This last visit when we finally got some one’s attention to get butter for our now cold food and also under cooked food. The girl brought a hand full of butter with two or three that were already used. I normally take my mother there but I doubt I will go back u til they get better qualiity all the way around.“

“Chicken was not breaded well. Legs were just about bare of crust. Roll was completely flat. I chose only gravy on recommended dishes because what I ordered- 3 piece dark- was not a choice. Mashed potatoes & gravy was very good. Bone in thigh was very good as well.“
