“Maybe I'm biased, but working on the ILS/radios here over the years, I have never had a bad experience at the cafe! Lunch at the airport is what I always look forward to when heading to Lufkin! Fries & the Jr burger are enough to fill an adult up. A full size burger might leave you feeling woozy, like you ate too much! ;) Don't say I didn't warn you! I've brought my family here a couple times when the kids were still young enough to enjoy visiting the nearby Lufkin Zoo (another hidden gem).“

“Lone Star Charlie’s provides exceptional customer service, hands down. ‼️💯 Although I didn't obtain the names, the waitress who uplifted my spirits following a severe car accident on US 59 was truly an angel 😇 in disguise during a difficult time, and the host ensured my mother's comfort due to her mobility issues. The food was also great. I highly recommend visiting Lone Star Charlie’s near Livingston, TX; you won't be disappointed.❣️“

“This was my 1st visit and the guys were all friendly and helpful. The food was all fresh and food portions were great!
I ordered fresh cut Onion Rings, the Catfish & Butterfly Shrimp plate which came with a trip to the Salad Bar, Baked Potato (or FF), Pinto Beans, Cole Slaw & Hushpuppies. Everything was appealing and quite tasty! I will definitely stop in again on my next trip to Lufkin. Thanks for a great supper (& plenty of leftovers 😀), Catfish King! 💜“

“I’ve always enjoyed CrackerBarrel shopping and the food. Food use to be good. Last 3 times we have been to Lufkin Cracker Barrel the food was no good not worth the money or my time. This last visit when we finally got some one’s attention to get butter for our now cold food and also under cooked food. The girl brought a hand full of butter with two or three that were already used. I normally take my mother there but I doubt I will go back u til they get better qualiity all the way around.“

“Prices are a bit much but for the quality it's worth it. Drive-thru time wasn't too bad and the food was still fresh. (Went early morning)
2025 Went for dinner and the cars were piled. Thank you guys for getting us in and out. I didn’t even have to wait for fish! You are appreciated. Keep on killing it!“
