“I’m not the one to leave comments but I had to for this experience. Hands DOWN the BEST FOOD AND SERVICE I have every had . I drove by this place for years and never knew that I was missing out on ALOT . I was missing the down home Louisiana cooking and the friendliest of the staff .Including the owner . It reminded me of home . If you need a reason to go this is it . You will not be disappointed. My stomach and soul was full !!!!“

“I recently hired Gator's Bar and Grill to cater a small private party held on Tiki Island. Gator's owner, Marjorie Morgan was awesome to work with. Her and her team are experts when it comes to catering. I asked for a more upscale menu palate. I know, most think of Gator's as a casual dining experience but Marjorie and Chef Lena delivered exactly what I was thinking. From the initial contact, to the location walk through, the meal prep, table set up and then the meal served, they made it stress free. I asked for a girly salad- a strawberry, walnut spinach with a delicious balsamic vinegar dressing. The main course was grilled 6 oz beef tenderloin filets- grilled on site with a yummy garlic parmesan potatoes with a creamy peppercorn sauce and sauté asparagus. Dessert was a cheesecake mousse. It was all fantastic. Dinner was planned to be served outside with a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, the lovely coastal sea fog rolled in just as Dinner was to be served. Marjorie and her staff quickly switched gears and flawlessly moved main course inside. Our guests were very impressed with how they perfectly executed all of our requests. If you are thinking of catering an event, Marjorie and Chef Lena are who you should call. Don't let her restuarant name fool you into thinking they only do bar food. “Great family owned restaurant with super cheap prices for seafood and surprisingly the best little off the wall seafood I've ever had! Not just the food was amazing though. The lady and man whom own it are some of the friendliest people I have been blessed to have met. They are rooted in faith and proudly display that when you walk in the door from the sign above the cash register area to her tshirt that said "jesus loves you" I just adored her thru and thru
Amazing place I will definitely eat here everytime I come this way.
The only small downside is I would not prob ever dine in as the summer time sun is set right on the place in the afternoon and the restaurant has nothing but glass windows in the entrance area so it was very hot in there but nothing they can really do to help this other than stop global warming.??‍♀️?“
