I came in to try them again after trying a baked potato one time from there. The first time the potato was average at best.

This time I wanted to try the two meat plate. Much to my dismay they had just changed their menu, and only sell barbecue and sides a la carte in a build your own plate style.

A two meat plate (two meat and two sides) would have come to 22 dollars before tax and drink.

I didn’t wanna spend 30 dollars on a two meat plate from a place I was giving a second shot so I stuck with the loaded potato but still ended up paying 20 dollars after tax and a drink.

I was again disappointed. The chopped brisket wasn’t “off the block” as I was expecting for the price I paid.

Instead, it was in sort of a BBQ sauce mix and tasted similar to what you could buy in a grocery store deli kept in a warmer.

The Potato was average size at best.

The potato cost what a two meat plate should cost.

The value for what you pay isn’t there and They have gone up significantly on their pricing with the new menu.

Very disappointed, especially after hearing such high praise from those who live in the area.

Won’t be coming back.

If you are visiting Texas and looking for awesome barbecue place to eat with family or just friends. Dickinson barbecue &southern confort is the best. We got greeted with a smile and they gave a little sample to try and we ordered a bit of everything as you can see in my picture. Our favorite was the pulled pork and turkey but all of the choices were amazing. 😊😊😊😊a must try

Just moved to the area and trying to seek out some good food. THIS AINT IT!!!!! I got the full ribs and some brisket. HORRIBLE!!!! I went through the drive through and I guess they save their old meat for to go orders. The ribs were dryer than a Nevada desert. It was like beef jerky on a bone. The brisket had no flavor or moisture. I can't believe I wasted over $50 on dinner we couldn't even eat. I have to say the coleslaw was surprisingly good. I had to send my husband to Roger's Malt shop for burgers and Onion rings. So disappointed because who has $50+ to throw away, NOT ME.

Friendly loving staff that cares about their patients they listen to your concerns and I talk to you not ask you and listen about medication that makes you gain weight that you don't want to take and they can explore different routes maybe some holistic.

Super good everything the best I never try before

Everything but the food felt right. I ordered the Friday Fish and Chip special and the food just felt very stale and unfavorable. My gf ordered the baked potatoe and it looked so much better.

Very good bbq, you will not be disappointed.

This place is amazing!! Everything I have tried has been wonderful. Beans, brisket, sandwiches, sidewinders... just go and try!

Just went back the food was expensive and was very small portions. For $18 you would expect more than a few pieces of meat.

Probably the most dry brisket I've ever had at a restaurant. Honestly I would be sad of i served that to anyone if I owned a restaurant. First time there never returning.

Very disappointed ? my husband and I went there yesterday. I got a loaded baked potato, and he got chicken/sausage gumbo. We also order chips & queso. The chips were overcooked & too hard to eat. The baked potato was overcooked, and the meat tasted awful. I took a few bites, and I couldn't eat anymore. My husband was okay with the gumbo besides the fact it was hard to find any chicken. We have been to way too many bbq restaurants, and we have never had this kind of experience. We were looking for something close to home that we could frequent often, but that is not going to happen with this place.
