Hidden GEM in Dickinson! If you are looking for the tenderest brisket you’ve ever tried, this is THE PLACE! Great service! Friendly staff! Delicious food! You won’t be disappointed!

2nd time ordering food from here 1st time everything on point. This time today 7-26-25 brisket was cold like it just came out refrigerator green beans and fries also cold and the ribs very mushy and looked way under cooked food seemed like like it was left overs from yesterday and just reheated.

I usually have a good review for Dickinson B.B.Q but IDK what happened tonight. I placed my usual order a half pound of moist brisket and a side of the Cajun Creamed Corn Maque Choux and this time i tried the potato salad. the brisket was obviously had been sitting out for any hours before i ordered it and was very dry! I was only able to eat 2 or 3 slices drowning in BBQ sauce before I have had enough. I come from a competition bbq cooking winning team and I know what good brisket is. And this was not it I wouldn't feed this to my dogs. the potato salad was a mustard biased salad that was so sweet a only took 2 bites and threw it away. The corn was the only this that was editable. for spending $25.00 on this simple meal I was very disappointed. Sad to say I might not return

So disappointed in the new menu. They jumbled it all up. I couldn't find my favorite two meat combo. Had to ask the nice lady at the register because the letters are so small on the menu now. She told me they got rid of it. She said they have been receiving a lot of complaints about the menu. I don't normally do these reviews, but I was very sad because the people are so nice. I hope they change it back to the way it was. I don't like the new menu at all. Shame they had to make such drastic changes, because the food is so good here and the people are very nice.

Amazing food!!

I came in to try them again after trying a baked potato one time from there. The first time the potato was average at best.

This time I wanted to try the two meat plate. Much to my dismay they had just changed their menu, and only sell barbecue and sides a la carte in a build your own plate style.

A two meat plate (two meat and two sides) would have come to 22 dollars before tax and drink.

I didn’t wanna spend 30 dollars on a two meat plate from a place I was giving a second shot so I stuck with the loaded potato but still ended up paying 20 dollars after tax and a drink.

I was again disappointed. The chopped brisket wasn’t “off the block” as I was expecting for the price I paid.

Instead, it was in sort of a BBQ sauce mix and tasted similar to what you could buy in a grocery store deli kept in a warmer.

The Potato was average size at best.

The potato cost what a two meat plate should cost.

The value for what you pay isn’t there and They have gone up significantly on their pricing with the new menu.

Very disappointed, especially after hearing such high praise from those who live in the area.

Won’t be coming back.

If you are visiting Texas and looking for awesome barbecue place to eat with family or just friends. Dickinson barbecue &southern confort is the best. We got greeted with a smile and they gave a little sample to try and we ordered a bit of everything as you can see in my picture. Our favorite was the pulled pork and turkey but all of the choices were amazing. 😊😊😊😊a must try

Just moved to the area and trying to seek out some good food. THIS AINT IT!!!!! I got the full ribs and some brisket. HORRIBLE!!!! I went through the drive through and I guess they save their old meat for to go orders. The ribs were dryer than a Nevada desert. It was like beef jerky on a bone. The brisket had no flavor or moisture. I can't believe I wasted over $50 on dinner we couldn't even eat. I have to say the coleslaw was surprisingly good. I had to send my husband to Roger's Malt shop for burgers and Onion rings. So disappointed because who has $50+ to throw away, NOT ME.

Friendly loving staff that cares about their patients they listen to your concerns and I talk to you not ask you and listen about medication that makes you gain weight that you don't want to take and they can explore different routes maybe some holistic.
