I made $75 purchase today, including Czech sausage, pork ribs, sliced brisket & a burger. The burger & fries were excellent. While the sausage was quite greasy, it had a good flavor. And all of the sides were great. But, the ribs were horrible...so overcooked & dried out, we could not eat them! The brisket was a bit dry, but adding sauce made them edible. Such a disappointment. This was a 'to go' order. Had we been served this in the restaurant, we would have returned it to kitchen!

This is one of the better barbecues in the southern Houston to Galveston area. I had half pound of brisket and a half pound of jalapeno sausage and both were terrific. It is the best brisket I have tried on this side of Texas. The barbecue sauce is a little mild for my liking but is tangy and good, I added jalapenos to my order from the bar and it was fine.Thry keep two BBQ sauces in kettles at the condiment bar, which is nice. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful, even the manager went around and asked how people's food was and if there was anything else we needed or that he could get us. The environment is country western and has comfortable seating. Definitely a five-star restaurant I would recommend this to anybody.Dietary restrictions: Keto, carnivore, lion.

On April 19th, I returned to Dickinson BBQ & Comfort Food Restaurant in Dickinson with a large group of people for my second visit. Just as my first experience of eating there, the food is delicious, cooked & seasoned very well with large portions. With a large party, there was a wide variety of food ordered....BBQ, salmon, stuff baked potatoe, sandwiches, etc...a wide variety. All food was served & prepared to everyone's enjoyment with a lot of praises from all....wanting to return again to eat there. The staff was courteous, friendly, made suggestions. The restaurant is very, very clean, large in size with ample parking. The restaurant manager as well as the kitchen manager of the day, Jonathan, came to our table to introduce themselves & make sure everything was prepared perfectly. This is a great place for all the reasons above to go eat at Dickinson BBQ & Comfort Food...you will want to return as we did. Enjoy!

I’m not sure why this place has a 4.3 rating, maybe it’s because I’m from central Texas and I’m used to eating some of the best bbq in the country such as Truth in Brenham, Snows in Lexington, City Meat Market in Giddings and Lockhart and Luling as well.I just spent $26.12 for a 2 meat plate brisket and chicken with 2 sides beans and potato salad and iced tea.The brisket was a very small portion and no real bbq flavor or texture to it and the chicken was absolutely horrible…They both tasted like they were cooked in an oven or something similar to rotisserie. The potato salad was a large portion but had multiple ingredients in it and had a strong vinegar aftertaste. The beans were a large portion and were very delicious.I’m having a really difficult time of finding a good quality bbq joint in the League City, Webster, Dickinson and Friendswood area.

Food was excellent and they were very friendly. The portions are generous. Everything tasted fresh. We went on Easter, so they had cornbread stuffing as a special. It was so good.

This place has awesome banana pudding with crunchy cookies. ? The brisket is good, and the baked potatoes are huge. Potatoe salad is great as well.. All the food I've had is great here, and dine in is so quiet and peaceful. The staff is super friendly.Parking: Parking in front, on sides and around back, has more accommodations for parking, especially you bigger trucks.

Not a lot of food for the price. The meat is good but the sides need a little help. The flavor just wasn’t there for

Food is very good. A little bit pricey. Friendly service. When I go through the drive thru, they give a bite of beef to my dog.
