I love their beers and their food but unfortunately went there tonight and found out their kitchen closes at 9. They didn't tell us this even though we were sitting there looking at menus. The kitchen used to be open until 11 so it's weird that it now closes at 9 especially when they are open until 12. We decided to check out Galveston Bay Brewing on our day date 3/15 and we absolutely loved it! Connor and Bethany made our visit fun and a great experience! Connor was very knowledgeable in the beers and was able to help us pick what turned into favorites of the night! Bethany was super friendly and was spot on with fast service! We definitely will be back. Thank you for a great atmosphere!
At first, we weren't even sure that they served food. Oh, but they do, and it has a german flair. Beer brats in a blanket as an appetizer is the best appetizer I've had in a very long time. The hot mustard, served on the side, has a buttery flavor that mellows the taste of the mustard. The sauerkraut is house made but doesn't have the usual sauerkraut tartness. It's very smooth.
