Duchman Family Winery

We had an amazing experience at Duchman Family Winery! 🍷 Our host, Richard, was outstanding — his exceptional knowledge and passion for wines made the visit truly memorable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the wines were fantastic. Definitely a must-visit when in the Austin area!

Our first visit here was in February 2024. We enjoyed the wines so much we joined the club. Everyone we interacted with there was friendly and helpful, offered suggestions and went out of their way for us. We’ve been back a couple times since for wine pick ups plus. We’re now bringing friends and family to enjoy the wines, the beautiful grounds and the food. Excellent place, excellent wine (loved the wines I’ve had, and I’ve had several!), excellent service. Can’t say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely Devine and breathtaking views!! What an amazing place to consider my wedding in the future!!! Their wine is Balanced, aromatic, sweet and very tasty. Not to mention priced adequate for Anyone to Enjoy!!! Thumbs Up Duchman Family Winery!!! Look Forward to Visiting in the Early Summer Months!!!!

Enjoyed a tasting at Duchman Winery, very nice. Wine service provided by Richard. He was knowledgeable and shared some of the rich history as he poured some very good wines. The Montepulciano and Aglianico are my go-to wines. Tried the Canto Felice for the first time. Enjoyable with a semi-sweet taste, but not too much.
The winery was very nice and a great place to spend the afternoon. It's not surrounded by other wineries. That's a good thing.

I have been to many wineries and by far this one has been the most disappointing. The lady who was in charge of our tasting was rushing us throughout our entire tasting and not giving us enough time to understand more about the wines. She also told us the inside tasting would be standing unless we wanted to sit in the outside picnic tables and grab our samples and come back to grab one sample after another. This was already frustrating considering that we were expecting to be seated and for someone to bring us the wines one at a time and not us having to pick up the samples ourselves. She then told us we would have to take two samples inside and then be charged first before having the other samples outside which we would have to grab ourselves. She was rushing us so much to the point she was giving us 2 samples at the same time. This is completely unacceptable and when I shared my bad experience with th manager all she did was say I’m sorry I hope you enjoy the rest of your birthday. She didn’t do anything. I do not recommend this place, you will find other wineries with much better service and with a tasting that feels relaxing and not rushed. Do not come here.

We were so disappointed by this winery. This was our second stop and the atmosphere was VERY loud and we stood at a bar because there were no other options. We did a tasting and our server gave us bare minimum information-we read more on the menu in front of us. We were also rushed through the tasting and when on our final wine were asked to take the glass to another place so they could do another tasting. The wine was also terrible. I couldn’t recommend this place less!

A beautiful winery with a great outdoor space perfect for a glass of wine under the shade of the trees. The staff is super helpful and friendly as well.

Duchman's was our final stop on our wine tasting tour. We went to a few wonderful places but Duchman's was our favorite! There are two reasons this place surpassed the others: 1) Their wines were all SO good. Even the types I typically don't prefer, theirs were smooth and enjoyable. 2) Our tasting server, Katie. She was an absolute gem! So fun, relatable, super knowledgeable without being arrogant but rather in an educational way. We had the best time with her. Those in charge, do what you must to keep her around!!!

Been visiting here for almost a decade, and am a wine club member. I almost exclusively buy Duchman wine. It’s excellent! The property is beautiful and service is great.

The wine here is so unique and tasty. Very interesting finds and we took multiple bottles of wine home with us. The atmosphere is relaxing and pretty, and there are so many places to sit. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff! Highly recommend!

Wine club pickup event is always nice. The food and dessert are plenty!

We had a great time here celebrating a birthday. The BLT pizza was good and the bagel bread crust was actually really tasty!
Rebecca helped us with our wine selection and was wonderful :)
