I ordered the quail cheese dip and it was 100% cold. The cream cheese was in blocks and not melted. It appears that they only melted the top layer of American sprinkled cheese. I couldn't believe they served it cold. The quail in the dip was also cold! I was 100% disappointed. We also got the duck quesadillas and those where good. I was hoping to have a good experience considering they serve outside of such an amazing bar. Fail.

The duck quesadilla and beets were so tasty, so flavorful, with delicious sauces, a perfect spiciness, I could have eaten two more orders! Really excellent concept and also execution of the concept. And nice people too!

Absolutely fantastic. The Nilgai burger was one of the best we've ever had, and the Rackhouse Dog was amazing as well.

Well, I'm glad to know I have found a new contender for the best burger in Austin. As someone who loves Nilgai, it is definitely the prominent flavor in each bite. Smash style, crisped to perfection, awesome seasoning, and that melty cheese concoction that's out of this world. Will come back just for that. Our server was awesome, Hayley was super friendly and fast with drinks which were also delicious. The quail dip went perfectly too. Sweet outdoor patio area that's great to relax on. What a stellar trailer serving top notch nomz.

Amazing unique food from a great little food truck outside Desert Door. Classics like tacos, burgers and quesadillas with a twist of game meat, elk, duck etc. So flavorful. The salsa isn't too spicy but has a great Smokey flavor. The duck quesadilla is a can't miss. Quick turnaround after ordering online and the food is hot and fresh.

The food is incredible. However Im giving this place 3 stars because it is way too expensive for what you get. One tiny taco is $8. Like I spent $30 on lunch and was hungry after. If you are at desert door and need food just eat here like you dont have a lot of options tbh.

This place is great. We took a spin out here just to try the food, and due to it being hot they had a limited menu. It didn't seem that limited, and we tried a bit of everything. The duck quesadilla was awesome, but the stars of the meal were the watermelon salad and the queso. If this was nearby, I'd be dropping by for queso daily. Definitely worth a trip out. There's a distillery here, too with a patio that looked fun, too.

10 stars! Seriously one of the best fried fowl sammies this side of the Rio Gran'. Wedge salad was also creeper hit! Don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu!

This food truck is absolutely next level. We tried the antelope burger, delicious and melts in your mouth, the fried quail sandwich was perfectly crispy and tasted like thanksgiving, and the boar frito pie! The frito pie could use some jalapeños but was tasty overall. The chips and queso were also great!Literally hope they open a spot in Austin.

Okay, so when you first read their menu if you aren’t a person who is adventurous with food you’ll have to take a breath and trust them. We got the queso, salsa and tostadas and mushroom quesadilla to start with with great flavors. Portion sizes are great! Love the option of ordering online while we are sitting drinking at Desert Door.

Game meats were prepared well. I had some kind of antelope burger and my wife enjoyed the boar frito pie.

Got about 2oz of queso and salsa with chips for $12. Absolute let down on the pricing. Poblano salsa was smoky and that's about it.Sweet potato waffle fries for $7 were tasty, still a small portion though. Would have bought 2 more if I knew the chips were overpriced

Jesse's food is top to bottom the best in the game. His ability to take underutilized ingredients and make them better then the commercial alternative will blow you away. Try the Cheeseburger. Nilgai is incredible!

Very pricey food truck food. $14 for a cheeseburger with no fries, had to ask for ketchup. $7 for one taco. Nothing special.

I had the burger and the sweet potato waffle fries. Let me just say that the waffle fries were damn good. Seasoned nicely, though very salty, but cooked perfectly. The problem? I ordered two portions for sharing. The amount of fries I got for what I paid (two orders +tip) was spectacularly ridiculous. They’re just waffle fries, so part of me feels like I shouldn’t be making a huge deal out of it. But that’s just how disappointed I was. These were seriously tiny portions for what I paid for.Now let’s talk burgers. Again, it was good, but I don’t think it was the best burger I’ve ever had (just comparing to what some reviewers are saying). I ordered it without cheese, as I am dairy-free, so I think I tasted the brunt of the sodium content. It also hardly had any of the other topping (escabeche, I think?), so it was dry.
