I went to Trattoria Lisina yesterday to celebrate my birthday with some friends. There were 11 of us in total. The food was good, but they really need to improve their customer service. The host who greeted us was very rude. In a loud, blunt tone, he told us that they would make an exception that day by pushing the tables together so we could all sit together, but that it would never happen again. I've never been to a place where you're willing to spend your money and...
We were a party of three. We each had a different meal. All three were excellent. The waiter did a very thorough job. There when there was a need or drinks getting low. The kind of server you wish you have every time. Portions were more than adequate. Price was fair for what you got but this good should not be expected to be cheap.
Very kind staff and the exterior of the property is beautiful but the interior and the food felt less like a unique experience and more like a Maggiano's that was just harder to drive to.
