Very very clean!!! This place is literally a diamond in the rough. They bring up the property value of the area they are located in.
Food so fresh, and ingredients so authentic. You can taste the love in the food.

This is one of my favorite places in duncanville. Everyone is always so nice when I come to eat. And some places I just go because the people are nice even if the food is average. But in this case the food is fantastic and everyone is amazing.

I was in the area running an errand and my wife talks about this place all the time. She has not been feeling well so I asked her if she would like me to pick something up from there. She told me what she wanted so after I ran my errand I was going to pick it up. I didn't know at the time but they close at 300 on Saturdays. I found this out when I pulled up and it was 319 PM. I was sitting in my car thinking through what I was going to tell my wife, and I saw someone inside approach the door. Almost everytime I have seen an employee do this after closing time, they are either leaving or making sure the door is locked.

Like an angel, this team member did neither of those things, but instead opened the door, and to my great surprise waved at me to come in. There were two team members in the store. They were very kind and welcoming even when it was 20 minutes past closing time.

Now I'm not suggesting they can do something like this all the time. What I will say is that to me it demonstrated customer service is a top priority to them and it is built into their company culture.

My review is based strictly on the customer service. Today was my first visit, and based on Google reviews, I expected a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

To be fair, the staff did seem friendly—but mainly toward customers they already knew. Unfortunately, that same friendliness wasn’t extended to me. I wasn’t greeted, didn’t receive a smile, and didn’t even hear a simple “hello” or “thank you.”

At one point, a staff member wearing an apron was sitting and talking with a customer while they were eating. She looked directly at me but didn’t acknowledge me at all. That lack of basic courtesy stood out.

It’s great to build relationships with regulars, but new customers matter too—especially when they’re choosing to support your business for the first time.

I haven’t tried the entrees yet, but I’m hoping the food leaves a better impression than the customer experience did.

Came to this place to have the tamales only to find out that they don’t sell them individually. You either get a 5 pack or half dozen. The 5 pack was ~ $9 and it brings different flavors (chicken, pork, beef, cheese and bean) but I didn’t want them all. I ended up eating 2 breakfast tacos and they were $7 each. They were good but not worth the price. 1 tres leches cake was $10… The place and service is amazing but is overpriced.
This place seemed to be a different concept and it ended up being disappointing.

I want to say, this place is exceptional! Amazing customer service, great food, even met me outside as I was pulling away to give me something extra! In love with their mango chia pudding and loved their enchiladas, cucumber salad, and guacamole!

The birria ramen was everything I could have ever hoped for. The owners are also the coolest 😎

I always come here to the Bodega and it is 100/10 every single time!! I go on my lunch breaks and it is totally worth it! Today they had the chicken caesar salad wrap and it was oooo soo yummyyy🤤🤤 I will always come back to eat their food!! I wish they had more locationssss but other than that 10/10!!!! If you’re thinking about trying the food don’t hesitate head over there and get you a bite🥰🥰

The Bodega Provisions feels less like a shop or restaurant and more like a quiet, well-curated moment you didn’t know you needed.

Every detail is intentional. Minimal without being cold, and elevated without trying too hard.

The food, drinks and candy are the kind you trust immediately, thoughtfully made, beautifully packaged, and clearly rooted in care.

The Bodega invites you to slow down, to browse, and enjoy the craftsmanship. A neighborhood gem that feels quietly iconic.

If I could write a soliloquy about the turkey chili I had last week, I would. I have always driven past the location every Sunday when I buy groceries and was finally able to stop by. The first time we had the tamales - perfect to have at home and the elote pasta, everything was so yummy. My salsa-enthusiast husband raved about their salsa until he finished it.

I am a known picky eater - and chili has never tasted the way people described. But this chili? Goodness in a bowl. I ended up taking it home and adding some fresh rice and let me tell you, I have thought about it every day since. The flavor has been etched into my soul like something I MUST HAVE. Alas, the roads are icy and in this time of cold weather all I wish is for a fresh bowl of that. Hopefully the ice will melt and I will be able to have another bowl another day.

The atmosphere on the store is great too! And it has some sweet treat and the cafe de olla mix we like to use! No more having to go to World Market or order it on Amazon. 10/10 would recommend

Small place to pick up healthy version of home cooked Mexican meals. Only place near me that has vegan tamales. It is small with few seating tables so it's best to pick up food and take home. I always stop by when I'm in the area.

Their food is always fresh and delicious! I love that they rotate lunch specials to keep things interesting, and they have a convenient grab-and-go fridge of ready made meals too. This is my go-to spot if I don’t have a lunch to bring to work for the day. Plus the desserts and aquas frescas are always delicious and fresh too!! The staff is incredibly friendly and now they know my voice from over the phone haha!
