My son had to be taken to Eastland Memorial because it was the closest ER. He gashed his knee open and needed cleaning and stitches. From the moment we walked in, the experience has been pretty awful. The front desk woman, Lori, was short and extremely rude. My friend who is an RN was with me. All she tried to do was go be with my son while I was giving personal and insurance information. Once I received the bill, I wrote a check for almost half of it. I called and left several messages with Eastland Memorial on their billing departments voicemail. I asked for an itemized bill and for them to file with my insurance. This was in September. Two days ago, I received a text message from a collections company for the remaining bill of $1160.85. Keep in mind I have already paid over $900. With no attempt to contact me back, Eastland Memorial sent me to collections. I am now having to file a dispute with the collections company just to make sure I can get an itemized bill. This should have been an easy stitches, file with insurance and pay what we owe. I am extremely disgusted with the way we were treated by Lori and how this filing and billing has been handled. The doctors were extremely thorough and kind. They did a good job stitching him up, but they are overshadowed by the lack of empathy and business offices of Eastland Memorial. I am a person that praises when things are good. I just don't want anyone else to have the experience we did.

Chris Hall is right, the service is friendly, food is good, and the prices are reasonable.
The majority of his review does not reflect on the restaurant, just another form of harrassment towards the skinny blonde girl. He has a personal grudge against her. I know because I was there. A review is a weird place to complain about another customer.

The tea and coffee is free, and I like that they have hot tea options. The cashier will get the hot water on request, and there is no charge for the hot tea either. They have grab n go fridge where we can get a dessert or even a cold meal like sandwiches.

Living in a small town has its perks, and our local hospital is definitely one of them. While it may not have the big budgets or cutting-edge facilities of a larger city, what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in heart. Every time we’ve needed emergency care, the experience has been nothing short of amazing. The staff—especially the overnight team—go above and beyond. They handle not only medical emergencies but also the challenging situations that often come through their doors late at night, all with professionalism and grace. Their kindness and unwavering dedication remind me why I’m so grateful to live here. Thank you to the unsung heroes of our small town hospital for showing us that compassion and care make all the difference!

The food is good depending on who cooks it. Chef Fernando cooks everything with love. His food is the best I ever had there. The service is good too. The only thing I don't like is the desserts. I don't like the desserts at all.
