“The chicken fried steak was delicious, and as you can see in the picture, it was a pretty good serving. It was very crispy and tender, as real chicken fried steak should be. The fries are homemade and delicious and worth trying. The only downside to this place is customer service, they're decent, not bad, just a tad bit slow. I would definitely come back and try their much talked about steaks!“

“I had a good experience at Denny’s restaurant on University Drive In Edinburg this morning. Samantha, our server, constantly checked on us. She always made sure to be cheerful and attentive. Cassie, a server not assigned to us, had an ever-present smile. Her smile radiated so brightly that it lit up the mood of my friend and me. These two young ladies made our visit to this place extremely pleasant. I recommend sitting at the bar. The bar is where the staff assembles to retrieve their orders. It is where you will always see smiling faces. Here is where they have more of an opportunity to face you and gift you with a kind comment or beam another bright smile in your direction.“

“Shout out to Emmanuel and the crew from Siempre Natural on University and McColl!! They remembered who I was, and took care of my order! Kindness, speed , excellent service, and excellent food! Highly recommend! I ordered the chicken, grape and pecan salad on a croissant with jalapeños ands fideo on the side, 10 out of 10 a must try!“

“This is an old restaurant older than 80 years. Their specialty are hamburgers and fried chicken !! Still as delicious as when I was a little girl. It's an old building with great tasting food.
Wheelchair accessibility: Has a good ramp for wheelchairs.“

“I've always found Applebee's to be good and enjoyable when I'm there, but not quite good enough to be first choice when I'm trying to decide where to go. It this case my steak was tasty but just that teeny bit less tender than the competition, and the background music was fine, except that one song about wanting to "kiss your a**" that was inappropriate in a family restaurant at dinner time. Still, the spinach artichoke dip was wonderful, as were the veggies. UPDATE: My wife and I went today and found it was "burger Monday." $8.99 for any of their burger plates is a good deal. Less expensive than fast food“

“A True Hidden Gem – 10/10!
I’ve passed this place so many times and had no idea what I was missing. I finally stopped in, and now I’m kicking myself for not coming sooner! From the moment I walked in, the service was unmatched—the hostess, waitress, and even the owner were all incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming.
The food is phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and try the empanadas—they’re out of this world. The atmosphere is also something special: a unique blend of cozy, artistic, and upscale with a whiskey bar and art gallery inside. It’s unlike anything else in the valley.“
