Myself and my five sons frequent this place. It is close to our dental clinic La Preferida Dentista as well and we supply breakfast for our dental team and patients. I have never had a bad complaint about the food here. The service is impeccable, very decent, and the workers say things like "have a blessed day" which signifies they care.
Daylight Donuts is El Campo's hidden gem. Not only does Daylight offer a variety of freshly baked donuts, fritters, and croissants they also offer a wide variety of breakfast entrees. The breakfast entrees range from delicious tacos with home made flour tortillas to my favorite, the huevos rancheros plate. Each plate is served with re-fried beans and warm tortillas.
