Praseks is the place you gotta stop, they have all the prepackaged goods you could need for your remaining road trip. The food is also really good. Reuben is a must have in the smokehouse.
We stopped here instead of the Beaver place to try it. It was ok. I got a burger, some sausage and a cheese steak. Everything was good, but the cheese steak was amazing. Probably one of the best I've had in Texas. We got some sausage to grill later, and they were ok. It was cool to stop and try something new.
This was a great stop on Highway 59! We bought one of their many tempting sandwiches (a brisket grilled cheese) to eat in their clean dining area and afterwards collected delicious Kolaches & cookies to go. The store had many mounted wild game and fish all around and a beautifully decorated aquarium with varied and colorful fish.
