We had Chorizo Queso Dip, Poblano Spinach Dip, Green Chili Burger, Spicy Habanero Burger, and Bacon Guacamole Burger, all with fire fries. Everything was served hot and fresh. Samantha Pedroza, manager, checked on our table. I had previously met with her regarding holding an event at the restaurant. She was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Based on our initial meeting, I knew I had to dine here and I was not disappointed! Liz Chavez also checked to see how are dining experience went. She was also very nice and professional. “I left a bit disappointed during my recent visit to one of my favorite restaurants. I ordered the $18 hamburger which was supposed to come with a half order of fries, but the portion I received looked closer to 1/8 of a serving, and the patty was super well done almost charrred. .To be clear, I did bring this to the server’s attention, and the plate pictured was indeed mine. While I truly enjoy this restaurant and often recommend it, I believe it’s important to be consistent and fair in my reviews.“

“One of our go-to's when we want GOOD Mexican food. I got the beef Gorditas and they were very tasty. (I usually get Machaca) Husband got his standby--cheese enchiladas with green. We've been coming here over 20 years and the staff recognize us and ask about the family. We feel at home here.“

“This place has good food, the service is a hit or miss, and when you enter the restaurant you can smell a disgusting smell coming from the restrooms. Sometimes its so overwhelming, that I don't want to go back because of the strong smell. They should invest in better ventilation.“

The servers were attentive, large selection different dishes = something for everyone, wait time was reasonable - it was pretty full, food was good and hot, portions were big enough fir me to enjoy the rest of my salmon and rice. My bestie munched on her cornmeal fried fish, baked potato and beans and rice for breakfast and lunch...all-in-all, we had a very enjoyable time catching up with family over a delicious meal. Everything was so good, we only took one picture at the end...well, the server took a picture so we could share with the rest of the fam.“

“The Remcon store in El Paso is the OG and it shows. The new one in Horizon city is much smaller and the atmosphere not as homey or welcoming and just Didn’t like the food quite frankly.“

“I have been to Mac's several times and try to get something new each time. I drive into El Paso a few times a year and I always stop by here. they make the most amazing flavors of cheesecakes. this last time I tried a new dessert which was a bourbon bread pudding. Oh man it was to die for! but I think this lost weekend I found my favorite dish. Grilled Salmon with an amazing mushroom lemon sauce on a bed of rice. its served with a refreshing and crisp spinach salad on the side. they have amazing po boys lobster mac and cheese and other favorites but this Salmon with the mushroom sauce is by far my favorite. I almost went in again for another plate before I left town lol. The people there are amazing they're friendly and attentive. 5 stars And I always recommend them to my friends and family and El Paso. they've never been disappointed! thanks Mac's for never letting me and my hungry fam down! 💕“

“First time trying this place is a pretty cute tote spot. I got the salmon burger with some sweet potatoes on the side they were great. Karen was out server pretty nice lady and funny. The manager came to check how everything was tasting. The place is very clean. Everyone was friendly we were greeted as soon as we walked in. Will definitely be back.“

“Best kept secret in El Paso. Although located inside the Wyndham Hotel, it is some of the best food in El Paso. I stayed here with a group for almost 2 weeks and we ate most of our meals here in their on-site restaurant. Their Food & Beverage Mgr, Ms Liz, is awesome, and so was Ms. Brianne. “This restaurant is something that is nearly gone in America. The ability to sit down to good service and have a slice of pie and a cup of coffee is a rare luxury. The service was great on a weeknight at 7:30 and the pie/ coffee was spot on. Many types of pies to choose from and some seasonal specialties. Slow down, put the cell phone away and enjoy some time with your family or friends over a piece of pie here.“

. We ordered drinks during the meeting. Stephanie was so attentive. Always checking to see if our drinks were topped off. I had coffee. I was provided with a carafe. I love that. I didn't have to wait to refill my cup. After our meeting we ordered. I had the Fresh spinach and bacon omelette. Oh my gosh. It was delicious. I don't remember when was the last time I had such a scrumptious omelette. It was served with hash browns and pancakes. I truly enjoyed my meal.
