I love this place for having drinks with my husband.

We have now been to Anson 11 (the bistro) twice and I think I’m done giving them chances. One thing that IS great is the service. I had the black and bleu bison burger and it definitely was not worth the hefty price tag. I’ve had better for $12 at Great American. And the chips it came worth smelled way too strongly of cumin. My husband had the french dip sandwich and it hardly had any meat in it. It was mostly a bread sandwich. My husband was grateful for the au jus as the sandwich was VERY dry. One of my daughters had the mushroom stroganoff and she said it was very salty. My other daughter had the tomato pesto panini press which she enjoyed. Other thing worth mentioning is that the chairs are VERY tight. I’m not very big but my hips would not fit into the seat. The sides are very narrow so I had to sit at the edge of the seat. Overall very disappointing for the price tag. It feels as though Anson 11 is trying to pull the wool over El Paso’s eyes. Maybe they pay more attention to the food on the second floor, but the food on the first floor should be just as important. Do better Anson 11. Many people go to your establishment to celebrate or as a special treat. Many don’t have extra money in this economy to waste $100+ on a disappointing meal.

Came here 12/12/25 and I just wanted to give a shout out to our waiter. He was so nice, knew the menu and was very patient even though some people in our group didn't know what they wanted. He was willing to guide the guests through the menu and provide amazing recommendations. I don't remember his name, but managers of anson 11, please give kudos to this kind gentleman who took care of the table of 6 with the reservation at 6:45 this evening!

We chose Anson 11 to celebrate our daughter’s graduation, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming, the food was exceptional, and the drinks were outstanding.

What truly elevated the entire evening, though, was the service. Benny went above and beyond in every possible way. He wasn’t just attentive — he was genuinely invested in making the night special for all of us. His professionalism, timing, and personality created an experience that felt effortless and memorable. Quite honestly, it was the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

Great food, great drinks, incredible service, and lasting memories made. Benny is truly the best at what he does, and because of him, this celebration is one we’ll never forget. We’ll absolutely be back!

November 16th we reserved a table for 4 for brunch. Service was great, however one person in our party ordered the chicken pasta. As she was eating, she saw a hair in her pasta. Plate was returned and they brought her a new plate. Once again, she found hair in her pasta. As we started moving the pasta around, we found several hair strands. We complained to the manager and he offered her a meal of her choice but by then she no longer had an appetite. Her meal and drink were on the house but we have no intention of returning.

Well, where do I begin. We eat regularly at Anson 11. Anytime there is an event downtown such as a baseball game, concert, holidays, birthdays, the film festival, etc. the food is very consistent and always good. I made a reservation for 11/22 and requested a table for four at 3:30. Because of a past negative experience regarding where we were seated, I requested that we not be seated near the front door, a booth, or a bench table. When we arrived, we are led to two SMALL tables pulled up together tucked into the fireplace. The table area was very inadequate for four grown adults. Complicating the matter, the tables were of different heights and one was wobbly. We saw that there were 4 other tables for four and requested another more comfortable table. We were told that those tables were reserved but NOT during our time. Ok, fifteen minutes later, we are still standing in the middle of the dining room waiting for the hostesses and the manager to figure out how to allow us to use the tables that were available but were reserved. 30 minutes later the manager said he didn't have any tables and offered us a very uncomfortable booth. We made reservations across the street and walked out. When we left there still 4 tables available, 5 including ours. I am a rule follower but the logic didn't make any sense. We were very disappointed with the nonsense. By the way, we have reservations at Anson 11 for my birthday next week at the fine dining upstairs.

Everything was enjoyable. At first, the recorded music was too loud, but our server took care of that right away.

The food was not enjoyable, it seemed as though the presentation was more important then the food itself. I didn't finish my food and left hungry and disappointed and for the money I paid $98+20% tip for lunch it should have been beter.

Great, you just need to add more bartenders. The drinks took a long time. If my food comes before my drinks I get really upset

We sat outside with city views of the historic downtown. We had a variety of seafood and chicken appetizers and main courses. Each was well prepared and delicious. Portion sizes are reasonable. Main courses are right for one.
