Okay… this might be the BEST Vietnamese restaurant in El Paso 💯💯💯💯💯

Everything tastes authentic. You HAVE to try the coconut coffee, pho, and sugar cane juice. The portions are hugeeeeeeeeeee. so worth the money. They don’t skimp on the meat or noodles, and the broth is insanely rich and flavorful

Finally found a legit Vietnamese spot in El Paso. Such a hidden gem 🥹 I just wish it wasn’t so far from me 😭😭

Im extremely disappointed that they did not honor their times they were open. We waited over 25 mins for them to come back at 4 15. No one showed up.

The cashier and server today were great and did an amazing job with my drink, best one ive had yet. Always have to get a chicken and special to get the craving away at least for a few weeks ;) will be back

I have been coming here for years. The Vietnamese sandwich no1 is best. The coffe sooo good. Today I ordered pho beef, lovee it. Small shop but good customer service, they dont have too many people to working so if you have a big order, give them some time. Other than that, I wish the business and the people the best

The Vibe
Papa Hon is a wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. Always an incredible experience. Stomach full, happy smiles all around.

​The Food & Drink
The Pho has a very delicious broth that compliments the hefty portions of meat and noodles. The sugarcane juice was refreshing, has a nice sweetness that isnt too sweet. Pairs well with the Pho.

Please eat IN STORE, for a dish like Pho it's best enjoyed fresh.

​Verdict
Papa Hon delivers on flavor, portions, authenticity of vietnamese cuisine. Truly a magnificent restaurant to visit.

I eat here a lot, it is normally really good. But for some reason the past 3 sandwiches ive bought have been not very good. Not enough pickled vegetables, too much stemmy cilantro, bread hard to chew. This time I feel like the vegetables weren't even pickled at all. I usually love this but its been kinda mid lately :/ hopefully they fix it.

First time trying Banh Mi Papa Hon today (02/02/2026).
I had the Banh Mi grilled beef sandwich. 9 out of 10. This is the best Banh Mi sandwich that I've had in the States.

This is definitely the best viet place in El Paso! Everything they make tastes how it does in Vietnam. Banh mi are delicious, pho, the Vietnamese coffees. Very nice people also. Super authentic, even down to the Vietnamese music! We will keep coming back here
