A Proud Graduate, Class of 1973. I was in Army JROTC and we were the school to beat in best drill teams, men and women, and rifle team, etc. Females were allowed to participate in Army JROTC as Seniors only as Women's drill team known as Sponsor's Corps. In 1973 the YISD Sweepstakes Award which had been awarded to the most outstanding Battalion (High School) in Brigade (District) was awarded as an inspection to help another High School to win it. We had been "Outstanding Batt
I attended Bel Air in 1970-71 and enjoyed my time there, I also went to Sageland Elementary and Bel Air Jr. High .
That school is awesome.
I love Bel Air High school.
Great school with a lot of potential
They have a great Health Professionals program and several new programs on the way
Is a wonderful High School as a saw it in the orientation for the parents. I like the security they have mostly. I think My daughter is going to be really happy as she mentioned it. Everyone helpful at the orientation and registation and really nice people starting with the security, volunteers, front office and principal.
I taught there from 1986-1994 English and Write Place and class of 1992 sponsor. Was a wonderful place to teach and have students go there. It is still the best school ever!
Yes!!! Where are students first !!!

I graduated from here in 2011! I loved my high school experience because of this school. The teachers are awesome and so helpful!
They hire teachers who are unsuitable to actually teach. For example, there's a speech teacher named Ms. Holguin who is just horrible. As a teacher & a person. She's rude & disrespectful towards each and every one of her student and for absolutely no reason. She gains nothing from it except for her bad reputation that follows her throughout the years.
Ghetto or not, school spirit dead or somewhat alive, football team losses a lot or wins a few, it doesn't matter. The experience you gain from coming here is by my opinion the best. Experience through education is great with awesome teachers and programs that support you all the way. Hanging out with friends after practice or ditching some classes and pep-rallies to go out and forget school for a blast. My only regret is transferring from this school, and not having to graduate a highlander with my bros. This school is the best, I will miss you! X)
I like that they have the health magnet, a great opportunity for many students.
Great school and cant wait to eat at the hard rock cafe
